And here we go again, another month of summer passed us by! It’s crazy how fast this month went by but I think it’s because we were so busy this month. We traveled back to Michigan to Kurt’s aunts house for the 4th of July, celebrated Kurt’s birthday and my parents came to visit! And the Nordstrom sale started!!! Which secretly has me very excited for fall so I can finally wear all of the purchases I’ve made haha.

Favorite Purchase- All of my money went to the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this month haha. But I did buy this top and I don’t think I’ve loved a top more. It has so many elements that I love! Stripes, peplum shape, ruffles, eyelet- what more could one ask for?! And it’s only $66! Have you ever shopped this brand, BB Dakota? They make the cutest items and their stuff is very reasonably priced. We celebrated Kurt’s birthday a couple of weeks ago and I decided last minute I wanted a new top to wear. Shopbop is always one of my go to’s because they have the cutest stuff, but their shipping is so quick! I placed the order early in the morning and no joke, it had already shipped by the afternoon!
Favorite Beauty Item- I was googling one day on the train what the top full coverage concealers were and on every blog post this Tarte Concealer popped up. The next time I popped into Ulta, I picked up a tube of it. And now I’m hooked and can see why everyone loves it. It gives you such a flawless finish and it really covers all of your dark spots. I’m now hooked and can’t live without this product in my beauty bag.
Luxury Purchase- I swear I don’t buy a new luxury item every month! I’ve just been doing really well with saving all my money lately haha. I decided I wanted a new pair of heels since I haven’t bought a new pair in awhile and I’ve had my eye on these forever. I’m obsessed with the ties and just think they are so cute! These ones are super fancy looking so when I stumbled upon this pair by the same designer on Shopbop’s site- I was in love. The block heel makes them a bit more casual and a little easier to wear and walk around in. After wearing them, I do have to admit, they are not the most comfortable pair of heels that I own. And I’m usually such a sucker for never buying an uncomfortable pair of shoe- but I just couldn’t pass this pair up!
Favorite Nsale purchase- Do I really only have to pick just one?!? I don’t think I can so I’m going to talk about two of my favorites from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I adore these pj’s. They are so incredibly comfortable and even though they are long sleeved, they don’t make you hot at all. I now own a few pairs and they will forever be on my list to pick up every year at the sale. I’m also obsessed with this Barefoot Dreams blanket. I was a little skeptical at first, but everyone raves about this brand. So I decided to order it and the blanket hasn’t left my side. Over the weekend I took a nap with it and didn’t want to get up because I was so comfy with it!
Favorite Event- My parents came to visit last weekend, which is why I was a little absent from Instagram for a few days. But we had so much fun! We did a little shopping and ate some delicious food. The best part was just visiting and playing cards at night.
