All My Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I’m going to warn you in advance that is going to be a lengthy post.  I’m breaking down all of my picks from every category at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.  I will call out a few items here and there, but do know all of these items I love or have worn/used in the past.  Nordstrom is my go to for shopping!  And this sale has so many hidden gems that you might just scroll right over!  I’ve looked at each and every page of this sale because I’m crazy like that!

I’m also going to include items that might be initially sold out of your size.  Keep checking back if you really like an item because Nordstrom will periodically re-stock items or they might get a return.  Don’t get discouraged if you want something but they don’t have it.  This is sort of the fun part of the sale for me- hunting stuff down!  And you can always call the store and talk to a sales associate.  They can look in their system to see if they can ship it from another store.  If I’m really desperate I will do this.  Happy shopping!

My Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Denim

The denim selection this year is so so good!  Every year I bee line it to the jeans when the sale first launches and this year I was super impressed!  You can get such great deals and they are all really good styles, colors, brands, etc.  Some of my favorite brands are Rag & Bone, Citizens of Humanity, 7 for all Mankind, AG, but I’m really intrigued to try Good American which is also part of the sale this year.  I’ve heard great reviews about that line.  One of my favorite less expensive denim lines is by Madewell– they fit so well and are such a great price!  Denim is something I highly recommend snatching during this sale!

Shoes

Oh shoes!  I’m a shoe lover and when I see a good sale, I can’t resist.  Now is the time to stock up on some booties, new slides or that over the knee boot you’ve had your eye on!  If you need a new pair of nude heels– these are my all time favorite and are on sale for $65!  I’ve had mine for years and they are the most comfortable pair of heels I own.  They give you height, but aren’t too high where your feet will hurt.  I live in these at work!  And if you don’t have a pair of slippers– you need these!  These would even make a great Christmas give if you want to get a jumpstart.

Sweaters

I am a huge sweater fan!  They are just about all I wear or own.  Cardigans are a great option to buy right now.  You can throw them on over a tank top or tee on a chillier night and they are great for layering even when the weather starts to cool down. There are so many great options that are part of the Nsale this year!

Activewear

Zella is one of my all time favorite activewear brands.  I have even come to love them more than Lululemon.  Their leggings are absolutely amazing!  They fit so well, are high waisted and they wash up so nice, don’t fade or pill.  I mean, what more could you want?!  If you are also an avid barre workout, these socks are the best.  They have the best grip on them.  When I was really into barre classes, I would only wear these.  I felt like I was able to hold a plank a lot easier because my feet weren’t sliding all over the place.

Loungewear & Sleepwear

Hanky Panky’s rarely go on sale and they are the only underwear I will wear!  I use to hate wearing thongs until I tried these and now I’ve been hooked on them for years.  Every time I go shopping I pick up one pair because they are a little pricy for a pair of underwear, but I’m telling you they are the best!  I prefer the low rise version, but they also make a regular rise.  Now is the perfect time to stock up!

I’ve also heard so many things about the brand Barefoot Dreams.  Over the weekend I was in the store and got to feel how incredibly soft their items are.  I’m now hooked and now know what everyone is talking about!

Tops

There are some really great basics you can pick up during this sale for work or weekend.  From great tees to collared tops to a fancy blouse for date night- so many great options!

Outerwear

The sale is an awesome time to get a new fall jacket or even a winter jacket if you can snag your size.  There are so many good options that are part of the sale!

Dresses

Hangbags

If you always shy away from splurging on a designer bag because of the price- now is your time to buy one.  Nordstrom has some great deals on some of my favorite brands like Tory Burch or Kate Spade.

Accessories

I wear this pair of earrings every single day.  They are my go to’s and on sale for under $35.  And my favorite watch brand, Michele, has a great selection that are currently on sale.  I’ve had mine for years and still wear it every day because I love it so much.  A watch is a great investment piece that never goes out of style.  I also love to stock up on scarves during the sale- they always have the best options!

Beauty

Beauty is so underrated for this sale!  I always wait until the end to shop it, but then I always find so many goodies!  One of my most favorite items I use on a daily basis and I always stock up on during the sale is this hand cream by Kiehl’s.  It has no scent and is not greasy at all.  During the winter months it is the only thing that saves my dry, chapped hands.  And if you haven’t invested in a good set of makeup brushes, I highly recommend this set by Trish McEvoy.  My mom bought me a set in high school that I still own and use every day.  It makes a world of difference when applying your makeup.  This set includes every brush you will need, unless you are a professional makeup artist haha.

Home

At last year’s sale I bought a paper towel holder and as silly as it sounds it is one of my favorite items I’ve ever bought from Nordstrom.  And everyone that comes over comments on it.  I don’t typically look to Nordstrom for home decor, but they have some awesome items on sale right now!

While shopping for this post, I’ve now added several new items to my cart!  Happy Nsale shopping!!
