Can you believe it’s already time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?!?!? I know a lot of bloggers are choosing to not cover it or are over it this year, but I truly love this sale. So, while I will try not to overwhelm you, I am going to cover it. But talk to me in two weeks and I’m sure I will be so OVER the sale! That’s all you see on Instagram and on everyone’s blog for weeks and you get sick of seeing the same content over and over. I will try my best not to bore you!
Yesterday the sale launched online and in stores and it is so good this year! You are only able to shop if you have a Nordstrom credit card. I don’t have one, but Kurt does haha so I have to steal his every year! But don’t worry if you don’t have a card, the sale opens to the public on July 20th!
If you are shopping the sale early, make sure you check out swiftly and quickly. Items sell out SO FAST! There is a sweater and a jacket I really want and they are already sold out in my size :(. Kind of bummed. But if you see something has sold out, make sure to check back because they re-stock items periodically.
For my first post of the sale, I thought I would show you some of the items that are currently in my shopping cart. I placed a big order today and kind of blanked out! haha. I saw that a couple of the items I really wanted were already selling out, so I pushed the checkout button as quickly as I could.
I personally like online shopping better anyway because you can try on at home and look in your closet. It can get overwhelming shopping this sale because there is so much coverage around it and so many good deals. Only buy what you really think you will wear. And remember it won’t start getting chillier until the end of September/October time frame. So I always ask myself if this is something I know I will want a couple months down the line since you most likely won’t be wearing these items until then.

1. Caslon Skinny Ankle Pant $49.90– I’ve been obsessed over a pink pair of pants and I never ordered a pair. I love how inexpensive this pair is!
2. Spanx Faux Leather Legging $64.90– I wanted these so bad over the winter, but I knew they are always a part of the Nordstrom sale. So I never bought them because I didn’t want to pay full price. They look so cute with boots and a sweater and are an easy way to dress up a casual outfit.
3. BLANKNYC Jacket $64.90– This is always a top seller at the sale. I bought a similar black jacket last year and love it. The quality is really good for the price. I am loving that added a hood this year and love this beige color! It’s so different!
4. Zella High Waist Legging $35.90– If you only buy one item from the sale-make it be this! These are my absolute favorite leggings. I live in them! A few years ago at the sale I bought a green pair and that is when my obsession with this brand started. They are so much better than a lot of really expensive pairs too! I always stock up on another pair of black ones (because you can never have enough), but I also love this navy color!
5. V-neck Ruffle Dress $54.90– I have been wanting to add more dresses into my wardrobe lately, mostly because it has been so hot! And this one caught my eye. Love the ruffles and also the color! I don’t usually gravitate to such loud colors but this one would be perfect for work or date night.
6. B.P. Open Toe Mule $49.90– Ok I’m obsessed with these! I regretted not buying a pair at last year’s sale, so I’m not going to make the same mistake twice! And how can you beat the price?!?!
7. Kenneth Cole Coat $139.90– I adore this coat so much. Sadly I know it is sold out in a few sizes, but I wanted to include in anyway in case they re-stock it or you see it in stores.
8. Cashmere Scarf- $98.90– I have wanted an oversized cashmere scarf for a while now but they are always so pricey! I own another cashmere scarf by this brand and it is great quality for the price. This will be so cute with jeans and booties!
9. Cashmere Cardigan $98.90– For Fall, I knew one of the items I needed to stock up on was cardigans. And I told myself I wanted to splurge on a cashmere one that I will have for years. This is a classic that won’t be going out of style anytime soon.
10. Halogen Mule $64.90– I think I’ve tried about five pairs of mules and I just didn’t like any of them. I find this pair to be so adorable, so I ended up ordering them. If I don’t like this pair, I’m giving up on the trend!
11. Ruffle Neck Sweater $49.90– This is another item that is sadly sold out in a lot of colors and sizes but I have a strong feeling this one will re-stock. I am so in love with the ruffle detailing!
12. Pajama’s $42.90– Ok if you don’t buy the Zella leggings, you should buy yourself a set of these! I bought myself the short set at last years sale and I was so obsessed that when the weather started to cool down I paid FULL price and bought myself the long sleeve version. The material is so soft and they do not shrink at all in the wash!
13. Tory Burch Over the Knee Boots $349.90– I have a brown pair of Tory Burch riding boots that I’ve had for years now and love. They only get better with age too. I’ve been wanting a pair of black ones but truthfully haven’t liked a pair very much until I saw these!!
14. Sweater Tank $29.90– I’ve really been wanting a sweater tank but just haven’t gotten around to ordering one yet. This is also a really great item that you can actually wear now!
15. Madewell High Waist Skinny Jean $84.90– The Nordstrom sale is always a great time to stock up on denim. I bought a pair of Rag & Bone jeans last year and lived in them. They are still one of my favorite pairs. Lately I have really been loving Madewell denim. They fit so well because they are made well (get it? haha).
