Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Review

The biggest sale of the season is finally LIVE to everyone!!!  In case you haven’t heard, the Nordstrom sale is now shopable to everyone, so get your credit cards ready.  I just received my shipment that I ordered last Thursday, so I thought I would do a Nordstrom Anniversary sale review (you may have seen my mini review on Instagram stories!) of what I am keeping, what I am on the fence about, items I want to purchase today and my biggest regret.  Ok here it goes:

What I am Keeping

^^ Jeans: Rag & Bone | Tee: Madewell

Rag & Bone Jeans– These might be my new favorite jeans!!  I love the dark color and they have a raw hem which makes them a little different than all of the the jeans I currently have.  They also have this amazing stretch to them and are so, so, so comfy.  Rag & Bone have always been a fav brand of mine and these are no exception.  I also love the cropped length which will be perfect for Fall booties.  Verdict: Keeping

^^ Keihl’s

Keihl’s Hand Salve– This is my most favorite hand lotion.  I included it in this post about my favorite NSale items and knew I had to stock up.  It doesn’t have a scent and isn’t greasy on your hands.  I know when the weather starts too cool off and my hands are chapped from the wind that I will be reaching for this stuff none stop.  Verdict: Keeping

^^ PJ Set: Nordstrom | Slippers: Ugg

Nordstrom PJ’s– I am always on the hunt for soft pj’s that don’t cost an arm and a leg.  And I have definitely found that in this pair.  They are so soft!  And what I love is that the shorts aren’t too short. I probably could have gone down a size, but I always seem to shrink pj’s.  Verdict: Keeping

Zella Legging– These are my all time favorite workout legging!  I purchased a green pair at last years’ sale and have basically lived in them ever since.  They are such great quality and wash up so nice!  I wish they offered more colors because at $35, you can’t beat the price!  Verdict: Keeping

What I am on the Fence about

Rag & Bone Booties– Last year I regretted not purchasing these booties and then they were full price until the end of the season. What gets me are the tassels.  I’m not sure if I like the length of them.  They were also a splurge which I don’t mind doing if I am in love with a pair of shoes.  And I just don’t know if I am in love yet, ya know?  But I also think I might be on the fence about them because I know all of the fall merchandise still isn’t in stores yet.  What if I find another pair I like better?  For reference I did go up one half size and they fit perfect.  Verdict: Keeping for now

Jacket: BlankNYC | Top: Madewell | Jeans: Rag & Bone | Shoes: Rag & Bone

BlankNYC Jacket– I really like this jacket and you can’t beat what you are getting for the price-only $65!.  The fit is perfect and I know it will be great for those warmer fall nights.  But for some reason I am just not that excited for it.  Maybe my mind will change once the weather cools down a bit.  It is a little hard imagining wearing a jacket when its 90+ outside.  Verdict: Keeping for now

What I am ordering today

^^ Holder

Copper Paper Towel Holder– I actually bought this in store last weekend and it looks so nice on my counter! I  have been in the market for a new one lately and I saw this one and loved it!  Kurt even made a comment that he really liked it too- so it’s husband approved!

^^ Jacket: Mackage | Bottoms: Zella | Shoes: Tory Burch

Mackage Utility Anorak– I tried this on last weekend in the store and sort of fell in love!  It’s such a good deal on a really nice coat too.  And I love the green color.  I know it would make for a really great fall jacket.  I also don’t have a rain coat per say and this would be perfect on those rainy days when I am walking to the train.  What do you guys think?!!?  For reference- I did end up sizing down so I felt like it ran a little big.

Halogen Cashmere Wrap– I have wanted one of these for years.  And I think it would be perfect to keep at my desk and wrap up in it when I am freezing.  This would also be great for traveling and can be worn as an oversized scarf.  My only decision I need to make is- what color?!?!  Do I go baby pink or more neutral like grey or cream?

Ruffel Top–  I ended up ordering this top the other day after I saw how one of my favorite bloggers styled it.  It looks so cue with denim!  And it’s a really cute top for the office.  I love how it’s a twist on a classic top.

My biggest regret

Kate Spade Sneaker– Why, oh, why did I not order these when I first added them to my cart???  I could literally cry!  I even tried having them ship me a pair to my house from another store and ALL of Nordstrom is sold out of my size.  I should have taken my own advice and not hesitated.  Please, Nordstrom, restock these in a size 8!!!
