Welcome to 2019! Can you believe it?! Today I thought it could kind of fun to look back at this past year and do a little recap on what everyone liked reading and shopping for this year on Cashmere & Jeans. After looking thru everything, it’s pretty obvious you like to read about our infertility journey, which I plan on expanding on more this year. I have a post coming soon- it’s just a matter of getting it together because they take a lot of energy and time to get everything together for those posts! And you guys really liked reading the couple of try on sessions I did this year- so plan on more of those to come.

Is it weird that I am obsessed with a blanket?! I bought this one at the Nordstrom anniversary sale and Kurt ended up stealing it from me. He claims its the only thing he can sleep with at night. So I let him take it because he doesn’t always get the best nights sleep. I ended up buying this one at Nordstrom Rack, but we now use it to lay across the couch so Addie’s feet don’t dirty up the couch. And now I’m back to square one without a blanket! So I’m on the hunt for one for myself! But I might just wait until next years Nordstrom anniversary sale so I can get a good deal. They are really that good and well worth the price. I thought it was ridiculous to spend that much on a blanket, but they are so so comfy!

It took me a while to jump on the bandwagon, but now I’m completely hooked! I wear mine so much that I decided to buy myself another pair for my birthday this year (I got a pair of the high tops!). And not only are they super cute, but they are incredibly comfy. I wore mine everyday while we were in Charleston where we did a ton of walking each day and I had no issues at all. My feet weren’t even sore! While Kurt was complaining the whole time about his feet hurting- mine were just fine! I plan on doing a review post on these sneakers soon, so stay tuned.
4. Investing in skin care

It was about a year ago that I really started trying and testing out new products for my skin. And a year later I’m so happy with where my skin is at. Occasionally I do still have breakouts, but my skin is in much better shape than it was a year ago. I will probably always be adding and trying new out new products because that’s just what I do, but right now I’m happy with how far my skin has changed after finding the right products to use.

This was a very rash decision that Kurt and I made. Our last couch was so hard to keep clean with all of our animals shedding all the time. And we just couldn’t take it anymore! We had been talking about getting a new one, but were never really that serious about it. One day we just decided we had enough. So we went to ONE store and picked out the one we ended up buying. It took a couple of months to come in and when we finally had it delivered I loved it and still do! It completely brightens up our space and it’s so easy to keep clean with all of our fur babies!
