What a week! It was a cold one š I am just so ready for warmer temps. We are so much more active as a family when it’s nice out. But when it’s cold, I just want to stay cozy inside haha.
On the blog last week was my Easter tablescape. We hosted Easter dinner and while my table decor looked really pretty, I was a little bummed with out my roast beef turned out. It was my first time making it so I had no idea what I was doing haha. It was good, but not the best.
I also shared this post about my Quince sweaters that I own. They are a newer to me brand, but I am loving them. The quality is so good and they have really affordable pricing. The day after Easter and I was so tired! I slept in and still couldn’t open my eyes haha. I have to remember to take the day after holidays off of work lol. This is my favorite sweatshirt– it’s so good that I wear it at least once a week. And I’ve had it for over a year now!
I just got this new sweater in from Quince (did you see my post last week about Quince?). And I’m in love. In fact, I love all of their sweaters so much and they are all so reasonably priced. I just got these pants in and I really like them. They are incredibly soft- I felt like I was wearing leggings all day! Sometimes you just need a fun pant outside of jeans so I thought these were cute. Would also be perfect if you work in a more dressy office.

This is one of my favorite sweatshirts! It is oversized and so comfy. But I love that the collar makes it feel a little more polished. They sell out all the time so sign up for notifications and you will eventually get one because they re-stock all the time. I’m in the size 1.

These leggings are the best! And probably the only ones I will spend money on (I love the Amazon ones so much and they are so cheap!). This color can go bad easily and can show a lot of imperfections, but they are so good on. They are slimming and smoothing and the softest fabric. I’m really loving this brand lately.
Kurt and I met some friends Saturday night for dinner and it was the best time! Here is what I wore. I probably wouldn’t have bought these jeans had I not tried them on in store. The image on their website doesn’t look good in my opinion, but they are really cute! I was looking for something just above the ankle and these fit the mark! I also just got these heels that I’ve been eyeing for years! And I’m in love. They are also really comfortable and easy to walk in. I plan on taking them to Vegas with me next month and I also have a wedding this summer I plan on wearing them to. This is how I could justify purchasing them haha because I don’t wear heels too often anymore.

A really low key Sunday for us. We went to Lowe’s to look at shiplap haha. We plan on adding it to our third floor bathroom update, so we wanted to make sure we liked it in person. And we spent a lot of time outdoors because it was beautiful! I also think I’m going to start taking my photos like this with my tripod instead of mirror selfies. You get to see the outfit better!
