One of the most important products you can put on your skin every day is sunscreen. And up until recently I hated just about every product I had tried, so against my own advice, I just skipped it every day. Which is not good! You do all this work to keep the sun off your face or use all the lotions and potions to keep you skin looking young and healthy. But then you skip one of the most important steps?!
A couple of months ago, all the bloggers that I follow were talking about the Tula Protect & Glow Sunscreen and I thought, why not? So I ordered it on a whim, not expecting to like it very much. Truly, I thought it would end up in my bin of products that I never use, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Every other sunscreen that I’ve tried in the past goes on thick and white and cakey. And after a couple of days it makes me break out. Well, the Tula Protect & Glow Sunscreen is completely different. For one, it is more of a gel consistency. So it melts into your skin. And it has the most pleasant smell. It has a little hint of sunscreen, but its not overpowering. And it smells really fruity. I am very sensitive to smells and this product doesn’t bother me one bit. It feels so refreshing when you first apply it. And within a few seconds its all absorbed into your skin. You also don’t get that white cast on your face that a lot of sunscreens leave.
The images below you can see how it looks when you first put it on your skin. It has this really pretty glow to it. The first image is not rubbed in and the second image is rubbed in. I promise you its not overly sparkly, just a really pretty glow to your skin! I wear this under my makeup every day and I also love wearing it alone on the weekends with just a little bit of concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes I may have. It’s a very versatile product!
The absolute best part about the Tula Protect & Glow sunscreen is how it balances out your skin. You know how sometimes by the end of the day your face is shiny and greasy feeling? Well once I started using this product, I haven’t had that feeling at all. It does a really great job at reducing shine.
And it moisturizes when it needs to and just really evens out your skin. I will mention that its not overly moisturizing either because I have problems with that too. I use my regular face cream (this is what I use), let that dry and sink in and then apply the sunscreen over my moisturizer.
It also helps to reduce redness in my skin and even out my skin tone. I noticed this within a few days of using the product! My skin was less red and old scarring I had on my skin was slowly starting to minimize. It’s one of the only products that I’ve seen that works and so quickly at that!
Overall, my skin feels so smooth and very supple. I feel hydrated, but not overly hydrated. This product helps my skin to know what I need throughout the day and reacts to the changing climates. It’s really crazy, but I’ve never loved a product more than this one and now I won’t go without it! My skin has never felt better and I know that a lot of that has to do with using the Tula Protect & Glow Sunscreen.

PS- If you end up ordering this sunscreen, but need another product to get free shipping- I love the Treatment Pads. They work great at exfoliating your skin and I use them about once a week. And they are kind of fun to use! You will see all the dead skin come off- kind of gross, but also satisfying!
