This year I kept a little note in my phone and wrote down the items I purchased and ended up loving the most this past year. Here are my top 10 items I purchased in 2023. A little home décor, a little fashion and a little bit of beauty!

Top Purchases of 2023
Pajama Set– I’ve heard great things about Lake Pajamas for years but it wasn’t until this year that I finally got a pair (and then bought a second pair!). And now they are all I want to buy! It sounds crazy, but I just sleep better in them. They are so soft and comfortable. And the more you wear them, the softer they get. I got this pair as a gift and then bought myself this pair during their Christmas sale and I wear them every chance I get. They just launched their new Valentine’s Day collection and I’m obsessed with this set!
Face Moisturizer– Ever since I moved back to MI, but skin has been so dry. Last year, I think I tried upwards of 10 different moisturizers and nothing seemed to work. Until I found this one by Jones Road and I haven’t looked back since. It’s the absolute best if you have very dry skin like I do. And I especially love that it is under $50, so very affordable. I don’t think you need to spend a ton of money on skincare- you just need to use the right products for your skin. Sneaker– The best sneaker I think I’ve ever worn! If you look at my daily outfits I post on LTK, you will notice I wear these a ton. I also wear them every day to work out in. I personally love the white because they are so crisp and go with everything. You can read my full review here on these sneakers.
Sweatshirt– Hands down my #1 purchase of 2023. I live in this sweatshirt– it’s soooo good!! I have gotten so many people hooked on this. It’s oversized and so cozy and everything you want in a sweatshirt- just trust me. I wear a small, you don’t need to size up because it is already oversized. My personal favorite is the grey and I also own white. But it comes in a ton of different colors. I really want a navy one next!
Weights– I started a new workout in spring of 2023 and haven’t looked back since. I’m addicted to The Sculpt Society in the best way possible. I’ve never stuck to a workout or craved anything more. These weights were a great addition to my workouts. They are really easy to hold and a must. I really need to upgrade to the 3 lbs soon! You can read more about my review on The Sculpt Society here.
Rug– I replaced my rug in our play room with this one and I love it so much! Not only does it look really nice, but it is so affordable especially if you need a larger size like I did. This is a really high traffic area for us with our backdoor right off this room, this is where Sloane mostly plays, eats snacks, colors, etc. so we needed something durable. I think when your husband also comments how much he loves a rug- you’ve found a winner!
Pillow– I added these pillows to our play room and I can’t get over how cute they are for the price. Pillows can be crazy expensive, but these look nice and are such a cheap price. I just love the print and think they tie in really nicely to our room. You can see them in our room in this post here.
Kids Table & Chairs– This has been one of the best items that I’ve bought for Sloane. She loves this table so much and uses it daily. She eats snacks here, colors on it, etc. We use it so much more than I thought we would. It cleans up really nicely and I’ve been so happy with it. At under $100- it looks so much more expensive than what it is.
Chair– I bought a set of these chairs to add to our play room and I’ve been so happy with them. First off, I’m obsessed with the color! They are they perfect color blue and tie everything in perfectly. You can see them in our room here. And they are super comfortable. I feel like someone is giving me a big hug when I sit in them. And I also love that not only to do they swivel, but they also rock too. They come in other colors and go in and out of stock so be patient if they don’t have them right now. They are worth the wait! USB Lamp– This lamp was one of those random purchases that I didn’t expect to love so much. We usually have this in the kitchen and turn it on in the mornings when we aren’t fully awake yet and don’t want the bright overhead lights on just yet. It’s also super convenient that it can be moved everywhere around the house because there is no cord. What really sold me was the shade which you can find here or here. It’s the most adorable lamp I’ve ever seen 🙂 You can see it in my kitchen here.
