Off the Shoulder Top Under $40- Perfect for Memorial Weekend

Can you believe this red, off the shoulder top is under $40?!?! It’s $39.50 to be exact. I know, I could’t believe it either. It’s actually a bodysuit which I was a little skeptical about at first. But it is so comfortable and easy to wear. And you don’t have to worry about tucking your shirt in all the time. This top also comes in navy and a blue/white stripe and it’s perfect for summer!

Speaking of summer, I always think of Memorial Weekend as the official start to the summer. It’s the kick off weekend to wedding season, BBQ season, short and sandal season and pool season. I live for summers in Chicago, it makes it all worth living here because the winters are BRUTAL. We live right above our pool so every morning I peak out there, waiting for the days that it’s finally hot enough to lay out.

So here’s a little outfit inspiration to wear for Memorial Weekend. It’s fun to be festive sometimes! But what I like about this, is you will wear it again. The top speaks for itself. I mean, I just get excited thinking about wearing it! And these white jeans are my favorite item in my closet right now. I have worn them in a few posts already (you can read about them here and here) and I plan on wearing them so much more since Memorial Weekend is when you can officially start to wear your white jeans! Ok, but seriously, that rule is so old school. I wear mine year round. But at least now people won’t look at you funny!

Memorial Weekend is such a special weekend for me- it’s the weekend Kurt and I got married (as well as the weekend my mom and dad got married and my grandma and grandpa got married-crazy right?!)! The dates always change, but it is always a special time of year for me. This weekend will be extra special this year because our good friends from Germany will be in town! We don’t get to see them very often, so we are thrilled they will be back in the US.
