White on White Look with a Ruffled Top and a Pop of Pink

My most favorite outfits to wear during the spring and summer months are white on white looks. There is something about an all white outfit that makes you feel so good. White outfits are fresh and clean and gives you that crispness. When I first saw this top on the ShopBop website- I almost didn’t buy it. I was shopping their sale a few weeks ago and at the last minute I ended up purchasing it. When I received it in the mail and tried it on- I was ecstatic! The top was adorable and something I knew I would wear a lot this spring and summer and it was perfect for our upcoming trip to Charleston.

I decided to pair this top with my favorite white jeans (you can read about them in this post). These jeans are my favorite item in my closet right now, so any chance I get to wear them, I will! The fit is amazing- I love the high waist and also the ankle crop length. Buy them, you won’t regret it!

Adding a bright lip to the outfit gives makes it a little more interesting. I recently discovered these lipsticks from Stila and I love them! They are a little more long wearing which is great because you don’t have to keep re-applying all of the time. They do rub off a little here and there, but overall they last longer than a normal lipstick. The secret I have found to wearing these lipsticks is to make sure your lips are moisturized before applying because some of the colors can be a little drying. I talked about my favorite lip balm in this post and I apply this balm first, followed by this Stila lipstick.

I wore this outfit to dinner one night while we were in Charleston. We first had drinks before dinner at Belmond Charleston Place and oh my goodness- the lobby of the hotel had the most beautiful chandelier and staircase! After that, we had dinner at Hall’s Chophouse, which is a popular steakhouse and it was so delicious. It’s a must if you are visiting Charleston! We couldn’t get over how packed Hall’s was for a Thursday night. I did end up changing into these shoes, just because we decided to take our time and walk to dinner. We walked to dinner down King Street which is a ton of shopping and stumbled upon this beautiful gallery of a photographer named Ben Ham. His work is incredible, but unfortunately the gallery was closed so we peaked our heads in the window and went back the next day.

I seriously can’t wait to wear this top more! It’s one of my favorite new additions to my closet.
