Hello everyone! Today’s post is going to be a bit different because I want to share a few things lately that I have been loving. So this might be a little all over the place, but stick with me here! haha

New Skincare Items I’m Loving

I recently switched up my skincare in a big way and I am so excited about these products. I’ve been using these products for a mere week now and already see improvements in a BIG way. I had a chat with my friend who waxes my eyebrows and she recommend all of these products. Every time I see her, I beg her to add facials to her list of services because she has the most amazing skin ever! So after our convo, I went home and immediately ordered all of the products she recommended.

First off is this cleansing oil. I have always wanted to try an oil to remove my makeup at night. But have always been so skeptical. How could an oil not break me out? But this oil is the most amazing product ever! And I truly can’t wait to take my makeup off at the end of the day. I massage it into my face for about 30 seconds and give myself a little massage. It’s so relaxing. After that I still go on to cleanse (this is the face wash I use). And when I’m done all of my make up is gone. There is no left over at all.

I also starting using this oil before I put on my moisturizer. I was complaining about how dry my skin felt. But it didn’t make sense because we are in the middle of summer with high humidity. My skin should not be dry at all! So she recommended I start using a face oil, which penetrates deeper into your pores and helps to moisturizer on a deeper level than your face cream.

Lastly, is this exfoliator. I’ve only used it once but still wanted to mention it because I think this is going to be a big winner for my skin. It left me a little red after the first use. But it’s effective, yet gentle, which is exactly what my skin needs.

Just by adding these few new items into my routine, I can’t get over how great my skin looks. And usually when I add new items to my skincare routine, my face suffers from it and I break out. But a week in and I’ve had zero breakouts!! And the best part is my skin feels moisturized, but not in that heavy way where you are going to break out. I’m so excited to continue with these new products and can’t recommend them enough!

A New Beauty Item to Try

Concealer

I have been wanting to try this concealer for a while now. But the price is what always set me back. I mean $50 for concealer is a little outrageous, but everyone always raves about it so I had to try it. This little jar packs a HUGE punch. And while it is pricey, a tiny amount goes a long way. It covers everything from dark circles to blemishes. And in my opinion, well worth the money because I know it will last forever…literally. I am shade SX02 for reference.

My Favorite Purchase from the Nordstrom Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is coming to an end this Sunday (prices go back up on August 5th) and this sweatshirt has been one of my top purchases from this years sale. It’s still available in a few sizes so grab it now before it sells out. I’ve surprisingly been wearing it a lot. I wear it around the house when I’m cold and I wore it the other night to see a movie because those places are always freezing. I sized up to a small for a more over sized fit.

A New Home Purchase

We finally have a rug in our living area! The one I originally ordered was taking an insane amount of time and I couldn’t take it anymore. I ordered it back in May and it’s been on backorder since with no ETA as to when it would ship. I was getting sick of not having anything, so I canceled it and bought this one. And I think I like it more than the one I originally purchased!
