Two of my favorite places to shop recently came out with new home decor arrivals and today I wanted to share all of my favorite items with you. I typically don’t do a lot of shopping for myself this time of year. Actually, I try not to shop at all in January. I call it my ‘dry’ month. Kind of like giving up alcohol or doing Whole30 for the month, but my vice is shopping. I’ve usually spent too much over the holidays, so this is my detox to get back on track! And not to mention, almost all retailers are in sale mode right now. I’m not too much of a sale shopper to be honest. Don’t get me wrong- I love a good deal! But by the time it goes on sale, I always think to myself, if I really liked it, I would have just bought it when it first came out. So I try to not let a good price justify my spending.
Lately, I have been making a list of home decor items I want to add or little places in our home that I want to re-vamp a bit. My biggest project lately has been our bedroom. I really wanted to add white bedding to our canopy bed, so I picked up this duvet cover from Target a few weeks ago and I’ve actually been really impressed with it so far. It’s really soft and has washed up really nicely. I know white is going to be tricky with all of our animals, but I watch Addie like a hawk now to make sure her feet aren’t dirty before she jumps on the bed. Another trick that I use to be better at, is I throw an old sheet on top of the bed after I make it. That way your white bedding will last a lot longer. I also plan to add this blanket to the end of the bed and order these euro shams. Once it is complete, I will be sure to show you!
Studio McGee New Home Decor Arrivals for Spring
Target recently launched some new arrivals in partnership with Studio McGee. They actually just launched yesterday! I love shopping this line because you get high end style at Target prices. If you see anything that is sold out, hit the ‘Notify me when it’s back in stock’ option. And Target will email you when its back in stock. Items typically get returned and or get re-stocked so just be patient if you can’t get your item.
Some of my favorites from this collection include this small box and the larger box. They look great stacked on top of each other. I find that items like these are awesome for keeping clutter at bay. You can hide all kinds of stuff in them. And they are great for the coffee table to store your remotes in! I’m also loving this bowl. It would be really pretty sitting on your counter with fruit in it. And this desk is perfect! We are all working from home now more than ever and this one is high on style.

Serena & Lily New Home Decor Arrivals for Spring
Another one of my favorite stores recently launched new home decor items as well- Serena & Lily! This store is definitely on the pricer side, although they do have sales often so I always wait until there is a sale. Their products are very high quality so you get what you pay for. I adore this side table! And ever since it launched I’ve been trying to figure out where I can add this. Still haven’t figured it out yet but I will haha. I also love the color of this coffee table. This is actually the high end version that is similar to my coffee table. The blue adds a really fun element though.
And I just adore Serena & Lily pillows! They offer so much style and attitude! I’ve had my eye on this one to add to our couch and this one to add to our bed. More pillows- Kurt will be thrilled haha! I have a slight addiction.
