I have become obsessed with the brand Margaux over the past year and a half that I have owned their shoes, so it’s time for a Margaux shoes review of the items I own. A little about the brand- it is owned by two women who were sick of not having comfortable shoes. So they set out to design a collection that are both stylish and comfortable. And they truly have achieved just that. I personally own three pair of shoes from this brand and have so many more on wish list. They are stylish, timeless and the most comfortable pair of shoes I own which is why I keep coming back. I’ve learned that as I’ve gotten older, it’s worth it to have comfortable, classic shoes that mix and match easily within your wardrobe.
Margaux Shoes Review
The Wrap Sandal

The wrap sandal in Saddle Nappa was my introduction to the brand. I was on the hunt for a classic pair of sandals that were comfortable and I saw these wrap sandals all over. I loved the look of them. But was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are. You would think the wrap part around the ankle would be uncomfortable but it isn’t in the least bit. Once you figure out how you like to wrap it they are so comfy and stay all day. The way I wrap mine is first I go behind my ankle, tie to the front around the lower part of your ankle and then to the back and in the front again I tie a bow. I personally don’t like to tie them too tight because it starts to hurt my legs after too long.
The footbed is also wide which I think is great especially because it is a sandal and you are usually wearing them when it is hot out. Your foot expands with the heat but these are the perfect width. Nothing catches or scratches on your toes either. The straps are perfectly placed to not irritate any part of your foot. They only get better the more you wear them too. The footbed will relax and form to your feet. These are my go to sandal almost daily when it is nice out. I’ve worn with shorts, dresses, jeans, dressed up, casual- literally all outfits. My summer wardrobe would not be complete without these in it.
Sizing Notes– I found these to run true to size and I wear a 38 in them. I am normally an 8.
The Demi

I bought the demi flat in in Denim Suede this spring and wore them all Spring. I will also bring these out for Fall too. They are a classic ballet flat that is insanely comfortable. The bed of the shoe has extra cushion in them. And they just bend and fold as you walk exactly how your foot needs. They feel like you are wearing nothing at all, but they provide that extra cushion and support that you need. They are so comfortable, I choose to wear them to the airport when we went on spring break and felt so comfortable yet chic walking around in them.
Sizing Notes– I found these to run true to size. I am in a 38.
The West Chelsea Boot

I haven’t been able to wear these boots that much yet because I got mine on the tail end of winter. But I am ecstatic to bring them out this Fall and Winter once the weather cools down. They are just overall the perfect boot. They fit extremely well, a little snug at first but they do stretch out as you wear them more. Most boots in this style can feel clunky, but these are anything but that. They are also waterproof, so they are great in the snow and ice. I didn’t test this theory out last winter because I had just gotten them and was being extra careful with them. This year I will put them to the test! I have them in the color Cedar Suede.
This boot is as classic as you can get. And looks so cute with jeans. I like to pair them best with denim that hits right at my ankle bone in a straight leg. The jean sits up just a little higher so you see the boot more which I think is extra chic!
Sizing Notes- I wear my true size 38.
*Note- Order these super early because they sell out extremely fast every year and then you miss you on the majority of winter to wear them. Kurt ordered mine at the beginning of November for my birthday and I didn’t receive them until February. I knew they would be worth the wait and I would have them for years so I wasn’t too worried about it. It was hard because all season I kept getting dressed and thinking how cute they would look with this outfit haha!
On My Wish List
So many cute styles on my wisht list!
- This flat sandal
- These woven flats– on my fall wish list!
- These slide sandals
- This pair of leopard flats for fall
- This dressy platform heel
- And this pair of heeled booties
Price
I know that their shoes and boots can be quite pricey. Make sure you sign up for emails as you get a little discount when you do that. They do have sales a few times a year usually at 20% off so that is a great time to buy. While they are pricey, the cost per wear is almost zero. And what you pay for in the price, makes up in comfort. And to me, that is what is most important especially the older I get. I would rather have fewer nicer pairs of shoes that I wear all the time vs. lots of just ok shoes. The styles are classic and timeless and you will wear them year after year. These are the types of shoes that you wear for years and have them re-soled because you aren’t ready to give them up yet.
Hope you enjoyed this Margaux shoes review and that you got some insight into my favorite shoe brand. If you scroll back on my ShopMy page from this summer, you will see that I basically wore my wrap sandals almost every day haha. They are truly the best brand of shoes!
