I live for a white t-shirt- always have and probably always will. They are my go to simple, basic outfit when I don’t know what to wear or when I just want to be comfy. They look cute with jeans, shorts, dressed up, dressed down, athletic clothing, under sweaters, literally they go with anything in my closet. I have an entire section of white t-shirts alone in my closet! I own so many and have tried them all over the years. But these are my top five best white t-shirts I wear on repeat.
My Top 5 Best White T-shirts
1. Madewell
This Madewell tee is my all time favorite white tee right now and it’s the one I am reaching for first. It is a slub material, but not see thru at all. And it has more of a boxy/cropped fit to it. On me, it hits at the perfect length. Below my belly button but not too low that I have to tuck it in which is what I like about it. There is no fussiness questioning if I need to tuck the tee in, do a half tuck, full tuck, etc. It just hits at the perfect length where it looks cute with whatever you are wearing whether that be jeans or shorts. It’s so good that I own two of them and have really contemplated buying a third one! This is also a great priced tee at only $38 so you can buy multiples of it!

2. Marea
This tee by Marea is the prettiest tee. And the one I am reaching for when I want a little texture to my outfit. It also adds a subtle sweetness to your outfit which I love. This tee fits a little more fitted so if you want it more oversized, size up. It is really pretty on it’s own paired with shorts in the summer or jeans when it colder. But my favorite way to wear it, is under a sweater (the neckline peeping out is really chic) or with a cardigan so you really get to see the details on this t-shirt. They also make a long sleeve version which I own in grey, a henley and tank tops which is on my wish list.

3. Leset
This tee reminds me of my favorite Madewell tee above, but it’s a little thicker and more structured. And it sits just a tad longer on my torso. So if you are a little taller or have a long torso it won’t be as cropped on you as the Madewell tee above. This looks really cute on it’s own with jeans with a little front tuck. The material is really nice and washes and wears very well.

4. Perfect White Tee
This tee is the cool girl tee. It is a thinner material but extra soft and coxy and drapes beautifully. I love to wear this one when I am looking for that easy, effortless style. It is still that boxy silhouette that I like in a white tee, but it is a little longer than my Madewell ones, so it’s easy to tuck in. This is a great summer tee because it is light and effortless.

5. Uniqlo
This is the best white t-shirts to wear under sweaters. And at $20, it is also the cheapest so I buy multiples at a time. During the winter months, I wear one every day under my sweaters. Am I crazy or does anyone else have to wear something under?! It feels better to me, plus I don’t have to wash or dry clean my sweaters as often because they aren’t getting dirty then. This tee shrinks up a lot so I recommend sizing up one. I own both smalls and mediums in these tees. They both fit but I have noticed that the smalls end up being really short after a few washes and they are hard to tuck in.
