I have very much been gravitating towards dresses this summer. They are so easy and breezy and comfortable! I’ve never really been much of a dress girl, but I think I’ve realized just how easy they can be, yet how polished you can look. Sure I love to get dressed up for events, but more times I am reaching for a pair of jeans or shorts over a dress. This summer has really changed my perspective and I’ve been reaching more and more for flowy, comforbtale dresses. I really think it has to do with the fact that I am working from home and I can be the one in control of the AC. My office is always freezing! So the thought of having bare legs and arms just sends shivers down my spine!
I picked up this ruffle LBD (little black dress) a few months ago and have worn it just about every week since I got it. Its incredibly comfortable and can be worn so many different ways. The price also can’t be beat. It’s under $50, but we all know J.Crew always has a ton of sales. So if you are lucky you can snag it for less than $30! Today I wanted to share three different ways I’ve been wearing this LBD for summer.
Side note- I know this dress is just about sold out :(. I think it was just such a good deal that people couldn’t pass it up. Keep checking back as they might get returns. If you see your size- please get it. It’s adorable!

I have really been loving the whole dress and sneaker trend! I think its just such a feminine and masculine trend wrapped into one that is just so easy and cool. And this is probably my favorite way to wear a LBD this summer. Lately, I have also been playing around with a lot of hair accessories and I’m loving this cute leopard bow scrunchie for a not so boring ponytail!

If we could go to the beach, this is how I would wear it haha. Or to run errands like the grocery store. Funny story about these flips flops. I gifted these to all of my bridesmaids and my mom and MIL for our wedding, so we all could have something to change into when our feet started to kill us from the heels we were wearing. Well, I think Addie has chewed about four pairs of mine now haha. It seems every summer I’m buying a new pair because she has destroyed them. They are on the pricier side, but well worth it because they don’t hurt your feet at all!

A cool and comfy way to wear a LBD for a summer date night. If we ever go on a date night haha. We still aren’t comfortable with dining out, even on a patio so we’ve been having date nights at home lately, which I’ve been getting dressed up for. And also setting the table in a special way! It adds a nice touch and makes the night feel a little more special.
