I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday this year! We changed things up a bit this year and went home to see my parents in Traverse City, MI. And we had the most wonderful holiday with lots of food, card playing and relaxing. Addie loves being back in Michigan, mostly because she has a big backyard that she can run around in. She can never make up her mind on whether she wants to be inside or outside and I swear she runs in and out all day long!

And of course my mom and I did some shopping! We hit up downtown Traverse City for some Black Friday shopping. And no we weren’t part of the crazies who got up at 5am ha. I’m amazed at how much the city has grown over the years. And they have some really super cute stores now.

We also can’t forget that today is Cyber Monday! Will you be shopping any deals today? I’m kind of shopped out at this point. Retailers start earlier and earlier every year so I did most of my shopping as we drove home for Thanksgiving! But that’s not to say there still aren’t some good deals out there today.

Today, instead of talking about all the deals that are going on, I want to switch things up and talk about gifts for everyone under $50. I really tried to keep these all gender neutral so hopefully you find some ideas for people on your list!

I think this is the cutest gift ever! And I’ve almost bought this for myself a couple of times already. I think it’s a fun idea to watch it grow all Christmas long and then eventually you can plant it outside once it gets to big. And you can always look back and remember the 2018 holiday season.

I know you are probably like what the heck are these things?! But they are the coolest things ever! You freeze them and then when you go to have a glass of white wine that hans’t been chilled you can stick these in there instead of a few ice cubes. I always have wine displayed on my bar cart, so I’m always so bad at remembering to throw a bottle of white wine in the fridge before people come over. Or even if you just want to open a bottle on your own that hasn’t been chilled yet. Such a cute gift idea!

I love, love, love this brand! Their dishes are all so pretty! And they are clean, simple and just plain beautiful. I would love to own a set of them someday. This tray is a really great hostess gift if you don’t know what to bring to someone’s house over the holidays.

This is THE most comfy blanket you will ever have!! And I’m completely addicted to it! I first bought it over the summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and Kurt stole it from me. So I was determined to buy myself another one because I really missed it while curling up on the couch watching TV. And I found this one at Nordstrom Rack for under $50!!! You can’t go wrong with this as a gift….or for yourself!

This is another really cute gift idea for a hostess gift or even for a couple. I know during the winter months, Kurt and I like to hibernate and cook a lot more on the weekends. And this looks like the cutest book to have and follow along in.

Ok, so these are technically a gift you would give a female but they are too good not to include! I bought them for myself last year and LIVED in them all winter long. They are so cozy and soft on your feet and so much more comfy than slippers. They also come in six other colors!
