I’ve been very much obsessed with LED rechargeable lamps & shades. I got one a while ago but lately I’ve seen more and more retailers making really cute colors and shades too. I’ve had my rechargeable lamp in our kitchen on our kitchen cart where our coffee pot sits. And to be honest, we haven’t been using it a lot. We used to use it in the mornings when we didn’t want to turn on the overhead lighting, but it’s been a lot brighter lately in the mornings so we haven’t had to use it!
These lamps are so convenient to use. They are cordless and rechargeable so they don’t need to be plugged in. You can essentially take them anywhere or even style them in places where you don’t have access to an outlet. Retailers have also started making adorable shades to add to them and that’s when I was sold!
A couple of weeks ago, our power went out and for some reason now the plug to our blue lamp in our play doesn’t work. We aren’t sure if it’s related to the power outage or not but we’ve tried resetting the breaker and it’s still not working. We have a handy man coming out to do some things in a couple of weeks so I will see if he can look at it.
So when we sit in the play room to watch TV at night we have no light haha. One night I brought in our rechargeable lamp and it gives off just enough light. Plus I really forgot how adorable it is!
I remember when I first started seeing these rechargeable lamps and thought they were pretty cool, but didn’t buy one right away. And then I saw the adorable scallop wicker shade and I couldn’t check out fast enough! I would love to get two more maybe in a fun color for my dining room table or to use outside. I really think they are so cute- and very useful.

The most affordable option is this wicker shade with this lamp (also comes in other colors besides white). But I also love the idea of having a pair of the light blue or green lamps. I’ve seen them styled on dining room tables or even on your outdoor table and it looks really cute! Serena & Lily just launched some really cute rattan shades like this one, this one and this one. I don’t know how to choose- they are all so cute!
