Hello! I took a bit of break last week because things have been a little crazy with the holidays. We were traveling for Thanksgiving, work has been crazy for both Kurt and I and last weekend my mom came to Chicago to visit. We did some fun Christmas activities like brunch at Macy’s with the giant Christmas tree and we saw the zoo lights. And we shopped until we dropped! It was so much fun. So the blog took a bit of a backseat for a week.
Anyway, today I wanted to share my Christmas Day outfit I will be wearing. My family is pretty laid back, so I like to be casual and comfy. But still festive for the holiday. Everyone needs to add this sweater to their Christmas list because I am so obsessed. I wore it over the weekend and got a ton of comments on it. I grabbed it when my mom and I were out shopping and I’ve already worn it three times. Its such a good, cozy sweater! It runs true to size and I’m wearing an xs. I’m also in love with this plaid flats. I got an insane deal on them (I only paid $25 for them)! I swear the deals have been so good this year. I’ve always wanted a festive pair of shoes, so I’m excited to pull these out year after year. And not only do they look super cute with jeans, I plan on wearing them this week for my work party. These don’t have a lot of sizes available, so here are a few more options I’ve had my eye on:
This year for Christmas we are headed back to MI to celebrate with Kurt’s family and I am so excited. It’s been quite a while since we’ve celebrated with them for Christmas. And we have a jam packed schedule of meeting up with friends we haven’t seen in a while, dinners, lunches and so much more! We will probably be exhausted when we finally get back to Chicago, but isn’t that what the holidays are all about?
