I have had Fall shopping a lot on my mind lately! I feel like I haven’t really been able to wear my sweaters and booties in so long. Last year, I had just had Sloane and was still trying to loose the baby weight. So a lot of my stuff didn’t fit. And I didn’t want to invest in too much because I was determined to get back to my pre-baby weight. So, you can say I am excited to break out my clothes this Fall season.
I do plan on adding some fun things to my wardrobe this year. But I’ve been a little uninspired to be honest. I am not liking the trends at all. And I wouldn’t even call myself trendy- maybe here and there. But more recently I like classics that I know I will wear year after year. The whole 90s vibe, crop top is just not my thing. And it’s really disappointing to see my favorite retailers going in this direction. I’ve really had to dig deep and find some new places to shop! I plan on doing a whole Fall wardrobe post but those are my thoughts so far haha.
This weekend we plan to head to the pool and I’m pretty excited. We transitioned Sloane to one nap in the afternoon so it’s nice that we can actually get out of the house on the weekends and do some fun things with her! We always did stuff in the past, but we would be rushing home to get her back in time for her naps. During the school week, she’s not the best napper because I think there is too much going on! So she catches up on the weekends and we try to let her get in some good, long naps.
This past weekend, we went out to the mall and finally bought a couch for Sloane’s play room. This is the one we decided on. It is really comfy! And the lead time doesn’t seem too bad. Hoping it doesn’t get pushed out at all. And I really hope we don’t regret the whole white couch situation 🙂 That was the color that was in stock and we all know I love white. I think our only saving grace is that the covers come off and you can throw them in the wash. We are just going to have to be very careful with snacks from now on.
Currently we have zero furniture in her play room. So we sit on the floor and it’s so annoying! And my back hurts haha. It will be so nice to be able to relax back there with her and let her play. We can all be happy!

- I bought this sweatshirt in a peach color in the Spring and they just came out with this beautiful blue that I am obsessed with! Such a pretty color.
- I really want a cute striped sweater for Fall and this one looks perfect and so cozy.
- I am so obsessed with this top! No idea where I would wear it, but it’s gorgeous. I found this look for less for a great price.
- Another perfectly oversized, cozy looking sweater!
- The color on this dress is to die for. So pretty for Fall. This would be so cute if you have a baby or bridal shower to attend. You can dress it up or make it casual with sneakers.
- I also think this is the sweetest dress. It looks much more expensive than it is and at $100 you can’t beat the price!
- This top and these matching pants look so cozy! I like that you still look dressed up, but are comfortable.
- This is another gorgeous dress. I am loving these rich tones for the new season.

- All of the Halloween stuff has been coming out and has me excited! I bought these pj’s for Sloane and they are seriously the best. They stretch for days and days so she can wear them for a really long time. And you can get free shipping on anything over $25. I hate paying for shipping these days.
- My mom bought Sloane this sweatshirt and matching pants and it’s the most adorable set ever! I can’t wait for it to cool down so she can wear it.
- I really want a pair of ballet flats for Fall and I found this pair. How pretty is that blue?! They look really cute with wide, cropped denim.
- J.Crew’s denim is all marked at $75 right now. I found this pair and this pair that I want to try for Fall.
