Wishing all of my C&J family a very Merry Christmas from the #faberfive!!!! This year Kurt and I decided to cozy up and stay put in Chicago so we could celebrate with all of our fur family. It really started because Kurt wasn’t able to get Christmas Eve off. So we decided it would be nice to spend the holiday with just the five of us (that’s five if you include our two kittens!).
Last night Kurt and I had a delicious dinner at the Behihana downtown. I had no idea that we had one in the city. And when I was looking to make reservations for Christmas Eve I came across it. We use to go all the time with Kurt’s family when we first started dating and when we lived back in Michigan. So it just seemed fitting!
Our plans today consist of making a huge, delicious breakfast. Opening presents with the fur babies and then heading to Kurt’s aunts house in the suburbs for dinner. And we will be lounging around all day in our matching pj’s!
I’m also going to include our annual Christmas card. I take these very seriously every year and get so into designing them. I actually really enjoy the entire process! We did photos with the talented Sarah at the beginning of November and it was so hard to narrow it down for the card. Addie doesn’t always like to cooperate for pictures. I swear as soon as you are about to click the camera she turns the other way. But Sarah got so many precious photos of our family this year! She is seriously so talented and is one of the nicest persons ever!
