Tomorrow is the first day of Fall and while I am so excited, this was one of my most favorite summers in Chicago. As we say farewell to summer, here is a look back at some of my favorite memories and posts from Summer 2017:
Favorite Memory
The hubby and I just discovered the dog beach this summer and we had a blast with the pup. We took her every chance we could because she loved it so much and who am I kidding? It tired her out so she would sleep the rest of the night. It’s defiantly my favorite memory of the summer.

Favorite White Jeans Outfit
I don’t know what it was about this outfit, but I loved it! It screams summer from the all white outfit to the sunlight and the straw bag.

Most Time Consuming Post
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale post had to be the most time consuming. I remember shopping all day to find my picks and then making this collage. I worked tirelessly all day so I could get it out because I wanted you to see my picks the first day the sale went live. Next year, I will be a little more prepared and get up super early that day so I can get a jump start on it!

Most Vulnerable Post
Putting pictures on the internet of yourself in a bikini is intimidating no matter how much self confidence you have about yourself, but I absolutely love the way the pictures turned out. It was also freezing the morning we shot these, so I remember looking at Kurt in disbelief when he told me to get into the water. But I just love the final product. And I worked so hard all summer to get that beach body!

Most Memorabel Post
I loved being able to write about my hubby in this post for his birthday. But what made it extra special was his reaction to the post. He was super busy the day of his birthday and the day the post went live. So he read it aloud while we were celebrating his birthday that night at BLVD. He was so touched that I featured him on the blog and he said it was the nicest gift anyone has ever given to him. It really touched me!

Most Me Outfit
I just love everything about this outfit. These pieces were some of my favorites to wear all summer long. And once I styled them all together, this is one of the most “me” outfits. Classic and preppy but still a little bit trendy with the ruffles.

Ahhh! I wish that there was a dog beach near where I live. My pup loves to swim. I also love all of the gifts for “him” that you selected. I spy a few that my husband would enjoy.

It feels like summer will never leave Georgia LOL. We had a crazy summer selling our home and moving to a new city! But we’re loving our new home!
I agree- we had a couple of weeks of cooler weather and it’s been in the 90s now the past week or so. I want Fall weather!!
