Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent mine back in Michigan loving on my two nephews. We had a jam packed weekend and had the best time with them. You realize how fast time goes when you are around kids. They grow up so fast!
Also, over the weekend I attended a bridal shower for Kurt’s side of the family. We got up at the crack of down on Sunday and drove back to Chicago to attend. If that’s not family dedication, I don’t know what is! So I thought I would share with you some options on what to wear as a guest to a bridal shower.
I always love to dress more feminine for showers. We are, after all, celebrating a bride and a marriage and doing girly things. I tend to think of florals as the most girly print you can get and that’s why I fell in love with this dress (similar here). I also liked it because I know I will wear it to work and it will look so cute with my brown Tory Burch riding boots! It’s important for me to know that I will wear something multiple times. I also love the sheer long sleeves, which makes it perfect for people like me who are always cold! The sleeves were cool enough to be out in the hot sun and also kept me warm when the AC was blasting at the event.

I agree that a floral dress is so great for a shower!! The last bridal shower I went to was in the winter when it was still too cold for dresses, so that was harder to dress for.
