Currently Loving: Beauty Edition // Cashmere & Jeans

Lately I have tried quite a few beauty products and I want to share them with you because I have found some pretty amazing stuff that has quickly become part of my beauty routine. So here it goes!

Living Proof No Frizz Humidity Shield – This product is seriously life changing!!! And I don’t know what I did before without it. After I am done blow drying my hair, I take this product and spray it all around my hair like you would with hair spray. But the best part is that it feels nothing like hair spray. You don’t get that sticky feeling, in fact it feels like you didn’t even put anything in your hair at all. What this product does is helps with frizz and it works amazing! Having short hair, I always have issues with my hair flipping out, which drives me crazy! I spend all this time styling it and the second I walk out the door on a humid day, my hair looks horrible. Since I have started using it, my hair has not flipped out or become overly frizzy. I have even tested it on some pretty humid days here in Chicago. And the smell is amazing! I have quickly become very obsessed with this product. Next I want to try the frizz shampoo and conditioner and the hair oil.

Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 25– With summer fast approaching us, I originally picked up this product because I was looking for something that had SPF in it. And this one fits the bill! I have always loved the Kiehl’s line and previously used their products religiously. I somehow got away from using a lot of their stuff because my skin just started to change over time. This lip balm has a really clean smell to it and slides on your lips so easily. Recently, I was finally able to lay out at our pool and I wore this lip balm. My lips felt smooth the whole day and didn’t end up chapped like they usually do after a day at the pool. I know I will get a lot of use out of this in the next few months.

MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup– I am probably the last person on the planet to wear this lipstick by MAC. It has been a cult favorite for years, but I am just now trying it. And I am in love! I forgot how great and inexpensive MAC lipsticks are! They are so moisturizing and don’t leave your lips feeling caky at all. At $17, who can beat the price?!!? And this is the perfect shade of light pink-my fav. I swipe this on every morning before I leave the house and while I don’t re-apply it again, it lasts all morning long.

Kenra Professional Brightening Treatment– I recently purchased this product after seeing a review about it and reading more into it on Ulta’s website. The next morning I decided to use it and fell instantly in love. This is a deep purple hair mask, so unlike other purple shampoos you may use, you still need to wash your hair after. I use this on my hair twice a week or every other time I wash my hair (which isn’t a lot these days! Check out my post about how I stopped washing my hair here). I get in the shower and wet my hair and apply the mask. Let it sit for a couple of minutes, so while that sits I usually shave my legs and then it’s time to rinse off. After the mask, I shampoo and condition like usual. Once you blow dry your hair, you will notice how amazing your hair feels!!! It is so soft and it helps get all of the brassy color from your hair, so your highlights look like you just came from the salon. I’m seriously addicted to this product and don’t have enough good things to say!!

Vaseline Lip Therapy Lip Balm (c/o)- Ok I know I am talking about another chapstick, but I am obsessed with them, especially these Vaseline tins. I use the cocoa butter one all the time- it’s my go to lip treatment these days. And this one is a new limited edition one for summer! Isn’t the packaging so cute?? This one adds a rosy tint to your lips, which will be perfect for pool days or those days when it’s just too hot to wear a lot of makeup. It also makes your lips so smooth and the smell is just amazing! It smells like fresh roses. A new summer favorite for sure! Try it out- it’s under $3!!

Stila Extreme Lash Mascara– I picked up this new mascara a few weeks ago because I was out and wanted to try something new. I’m not very loyal to any particular brand or type of mascara. I really like to try all kinds of new ones. This one really lengthens your lashes which is what it says it’s suppose to do. What I love about this mascara is it is super easy to remove. At night I use Almay eye makeup remover which I talked about in this post. Usually when I wake up in the morning, I still have a little residue, so I have to make sure I get it all off after I wash my face. With this product, I don’t have that issue. Overall, I really like this product and it’s perfect if you are looking for a mascara that lengthens. You will have super long lashes with this one!
