Hello everyone and happy Monday! I’ve been sort of in a style rut lately. Mostly because one day its 80 degrees outside, the next it’s raining and then the day after its chilly. Mother Nature just needs to make up her mind and stick to Fall weather!
Anyway, I’ve been digging deep into my closet and trying to create some new work outfits. And today I thought I would share them. My goal has been to dress for the temps, but still dress for the season which can be hard to do in my opinion! Especially when its still hot outside. Hopefully this will give you some ideas to recreate looks with items you might already have in your closet.
I did just order some new items for Fall from some of my favorite retailers I shop at for work clothes like Ann Taylor , J.Crew and Loft. And I plan on sharing a try on session next week on on the blog once I get all of my orders in. There are so many cute items out right now, so I’m excited to update my wardrobe a bit for Fall!
Anyway, here are some work outfits I’ve worn lately!

Addie wouldn’t move for this picture so you get her tail in this one haha! This pair of pants are one of my favorites that I own. I like how skinny and fitted they are so they make you look more put together with an oversized or longer sweater in the Fall. They are also machine washable! But I actually still dry clean them. For me, they still come out super wrinkly, so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong when I wash them. I think I need to try again because I hate taking stuff to the dry cleaners!

I’m not usually a dress person, mostly because my office is always freeing. But this one was only $25 from Target and I thought it was too cute to pass up. Lately, Target has had some super cute items for Fall at really affordable prices.

My go to is always a button down shirt and everyone needs a good plaid one in their wardrobe. Mine is from a few years ago, but this one is similar and super cute! It gives you the look of “Fall”, but you can still wear this on hotter days. And you can layer it under sweaters as the temps start to drop.

I’m on a major blazer kick right now! I’ve always loved them and they are a major trend I’m seeing right now. I bought this one a couple of months ago and it’s been on a backorder for a while. And I just recently got it in the mail and I’m obsessed with it! I love the look of how professional you look, but little does everyone know I’m also wearing a simple tee underneath. So it’s a rather comfy outfit! I choose the camel color because you can wear it with both black and navy, so I know I will get a ton of wear out of it.

I recently bought these pants and OMG I’m obsessed with the cut and fit of them! I forgot how much I like Banana Republic’s pants. In the past I use to buy almost all of my work clothes from Banana, but the last couple of years I’ve sort of stopped shopping there. I really dislike how their website doesn’t show the item on a model. I know it’s really strange, but I feel like the items just sort of look blah on their site and nothing ever jumps out at me.
Anyway, I really wanted a plaid pair of plaid pants for Fall and so I ordered these. They fit great and they are a great fabric that is breathable so you can wear these year round. AND they are machine washable. So I really need to figure this mystery out because that is so much more convenient than taking them to the dry cleaners.

I’ve talked before about my love for this sweater so it should be nothing new. But I seriously love it! It’s so nice to wear it now alone and I plan on layering it under blazers once the temps cool off. I know it’s pricey, but I’ve already worn it about once a week since I’ve bought it. Here is one thats more budget friendly.

And here is a casual Friday outfit idea! You all know I love my white jeans. I ordered this pair in the Spring and haven’t been wearing them much because I’ve been wearing this pair so much. But I decided to put them on again and I forgot how wonderful they are! Madewell really makes the best and most affordable jeans in my opinion. They just fit so good!
