Our Fall Family Photos | Cashmere & Jeans

I’m so excited to share our fall family photos with you today! We have been doing this now for three years and I swear every year they get better and better. Sarah is a super talented photographer who we have used every year. I know her through a friend I use to work with and I would highly recommend her. She is super sweet and I love how she captures our little family. And she is very talented. I mean, I can’t take photos like she does!

Every year we do a different sort of theme. Our first year you can find here and I wanted them to be true Chicago, so we took them down by the riverfront and I love how they turned out. And last year I wanted something very dressy and formal to change it up a bit (you can find them in this post here). Every year we wait until the last minute to schedule them and its always freezing! So this year we decided to book it a little sooner so we could get some true fall pictures. And warmer temps!

We live right by this park that we take Addie for a walk in all the time and we decided it would make for the perfect fall backdrop. I was a little nervous because the trees turned a little later this year, but I defiantly think we caught some of the beautiful colors. It was also a gorgeous morning and perfect for a photo shoot so I would say we lucked out this year!
