Blue Ruffled Off the Shoulder Top and Jeans

A big trend this season is off the shoulder tops which I happen to love!  I am always cold so what I love about these tops is that you can still show a little skin.  And you don’t have to sacrifice warmth!  There are so many cute options out there, but when I saw this one I was in love.  The light blue color, eyelet and ruffles are so girly and so me.  They even make it now in white and pink.  I’m half considering ordering it another color because it’s so cute.  Sometimes off the shoulder tops can be hard to wear, but I didn’t think this one was too bad.  The inside of the top has sticky stuff so it stayed out on your shoulders.  It was a little difficult to move your hands above your head, but that’s what you get when wearing these kinds of tops.

I paired this top with my favorite distressed denim.  I wanted to add a little edge to the top.  This is my first pair of AG jeans and I really like them!  I have always read great reviews on this denim line and decided to order a pair from Nordstrom.  They really keep their shape all day long which is great for a pair of jeans.

I wore this outfit the first night we were in Charleston.  It gets a little chilly at night, so this was perfect for dinner.  We made reservations at Fleet Landing which is on the water.  First off, the place was PACKED.  It was a Wednesday night and I don’t think they had any open tables.  Do people work in Charleston?!?!  Anyways, the food was amazing!  I had pasta with every type of seafood you could think of and it was spectacular.
