A New Tradition: Matching Christmas PJs

Every year, I try to add a new Christmas tradition! There are so many fun activities to do, especially around the city. For at least eight or nine years, we have been going to Zoo Lights at the Lincoln Park Zoo. They do such an amazing job with the light show. And then we always make a reservation at R.J. Grunt’s, which is a fun and relaxing restaurant. And they have the most delicious salad bar! Last year, we went for the first time to see the huge Christmas tree at the Walnut Room and had breakfast. And we usually attend the Christkindlemarket in Chicago. But if you have ever gone, you will know why we decided not to go back this year. They JAM people in there and no matter what time you go, it’s always packed. There are so many people that you can’t even get to any of the food stands or shopping stands.

This year I decided to add matching Christmas pjs to our list!! Mostly because I think this is such a cute and fun tradition! We took these photos at home in Traverse City in front of my mom’s tree. Isn’t it beautiful?!?! She always does such a good job decorating every year.
