This tissue box cover was a very random, but good find! We have been sick what feels like forever haha. And I got sick of looking at the ugly tissue boxes around my house. So I found this one and ordered on my next Target order. And now it actually matches my décor and makes me not so resentful. Sometimes, it’s the little things in life 🙂
Things have been rather uneventful around here but I guess that is what you get in January. I celebrate the days when the sun is out- it seriously makes me feel so much better and more productive.
Sloane started swim lessons last weekend and she loved it so much! She was a little hesitant and nervous at first, but by the end of the class she was having a blast. Kurt had to work that day so I took her myself and let me just tell you, it was exhausting even for me haha. Sloane ending up falling asleep when she got home and then took a really long nap (for her at least) later that afternoon. So I would say it was a success! We have three more sessions and I’m excited to see how the rest go!
I have a lot of great finds that I am excited to share this week:
- I’m obsessed with this sherpa winter jacket (in white!). I had a similar one in college and it makes me think I should have kept it all these years. Does it not look so warm?!
- I absolutely adore these pink leggings. Perfect color as we head into Spring.
- This spot remover is the only reason why I am able to have light colored furniture. It takes everything out!
- I’m sooo tempted to buy these shoes for Sloane. Would they not be so cute for Valentine’s Day?!
- Adore this straw bag for Spring and Summer. I know I would own this for years and years.
- This 4 piece outdoor wicker set is perfection. Would for sure be buying this if we didn’t just buy a set last year. It looks similar to a much more expensive version!
- Headed somewhere warm or just ready for spring? I’m obsessed with this bucket hat!
- I love my Barefoot Dreams blanket. In fact, I am wrapped up in it right now! But they are pricey. Here is a great look a like for only $25! I actually want to order a couple of these to place on my couches.
- I just ordered these white sneakers (in the navy) for myself for Spring. I’ve loved them for years, but they always sell out so fast so I saw them in stock and ordered them right away. I had to go down a full size.
- I’ve been on the hunt for a coffee table for our play room and came across this one that I love. It looks so much more expensive that it actually is.
- I feel like we could always save a little more, right? Well, I found this savings tracker that I thought was a really great idea. So every time you can save a few extra dollars you can transfer it to your savings account. But the sheet gives you something tangible to look at and achieve. I always feel more accomplished when I can cross something off my list. So I think it would feel great to cross off that I saved $20 here and there. I plan to purchase this and add it to my desk so it’s front and center…and hopefully my bank account will be happier!
- I’m obsessed with this TV stand from…Target! We have actually had a TV stand (this is the one we have) from there for years and I can attest that the quality is a lot better than you think. I love the rattan details on this one.
- Last year, I got a one piece suit from Target and it was my most worn suit. It was so flattering- even Kurt would comment on how good it looked on me. I was browsing there new arrivals the other day and came across this one and added it to my cart. I love the light purple color!

Are you an expecting mama? Here is Sloane’s nursery! So far it is the only room that truly feels complete. I worked so hard on this room and I love the way it turned out. A year later and the room looks almost exactly the same. Except these days her bookcase NEVER looks that pretty haha. And I stole her little side table for my living room so she doesn’t currently have anything. Eventually, I am going to order this.
