I have been so grateful to get so many hand me downs from many of my friends for Sloane. It has been so helpful considering they grow so fast! But for whatever reason, Sloane doesn’t have many summer clothes. So I was on the hunt for affordable summer baby clothes and came across Target who had some adorable options! I actually ended up ordering some of these for Sloane, so I will be sure to share when I get them in person. And when making this collage I added more to my bag to buy for her!
Most of these are on sale too making it that much more affordable. I think I’ve learned my lesson when it comes to Sloane’s clothes. It’s not really worth it to splurge on clothes for her. There are so many cute and affordable options. And not to mention she usually comes home pretty messy from daycare. I still haven’t really found a great option for getting stains out of her clothes. Maybe I need to spray them right away, but I usually wait until I do laundry to do that. Usually on the weekends we strip her down to her diaper when she eats because girlfriend is messy!! It’s just easier on everyone that way haha.
So now she is set for summer! I was also going to order her these cute sandals which are also a great price! I don’t usually put shoes on her because she’s not walking yet, but I kind of feel bad for her when she wears shorts. Don’t her feet get cold?! Mine would. I put socks on her when she wears pants, but she would just look silly in shorts and socks haha.
Moving forward, I am going to stick to more affordable clothes for day time. Here and there I know I will splurge, but for the most part they get so messy! And I am going to splurge on her sleepers for nighttime. She doesn’t get messy at bedtime haha. Those are actually worth it because they last so much longer and stretch for days. We are still wearing Christmas and Valentine’s Day prints because they still fit. My favorite brands are Little Sleepies, Magnetic Me and Kickee Pants.
