Excited share some details today on Sloane’s Twotti Frutti 2nd birthday party! We kept things really small this year because last year was intense….and a lot of work! haha. We actually ended up having to reschedule her party because we were out of power the day we had it planned. So we did it a few weeks later. Luckily I had already blown up her balloon garland before we lost power! She loved coming downstairs on the morning of her birthday to her gifts and the balloons. I think she liked the balloons more than anything haha.
Sloane had a blast with her cousins and playing around the yard. She loved opening up all of her presents. And playing with them! You could just tell she was so happy by the big grin on her face the whole evening. Some of her favorite presents this year have been this alphabet puzzle, her Tonies box, her magnetic building blocks (she’s obsessed with these!) and her new balance bike.
I kept the details really small this year and more just a ‘normal’ non Pinterest birthday party. I found this adorable invitation that I had printed and sent out. Next year, I will probably just text it to everyone because that seems a lot easier! But I did have to add a couple of cute touches to her twotti frutti 2nd birthday party like these cupcake picks and liners (I made the cupcakes!). She wore her favorite strawberry pj’s that can also pass as a cute outfit to stay on theme. I picked up these plates on sale at Target and the rest was from Home Goods. Happy 2nd birthday to our little Sloane! It feels so crazy to say we have a two year old now and I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. It has been such a fun time- hearing you learn how to talk, the cute ways you talk & the nicknames you have given things and your little personality coming thru. You’re the coolest little girl who loves to get down and dirty and help with all the normal every day tasks. But it just makes it that much more fun for Mom & Dad. I can’t wait to watch your grow and all the new possibilities as you take on the year. Love you Sloane!
