It’s kind of crazy to even be thinking about this since it feels like I just finished decorating for summer, but today I wanted to chat about how I’m decorating for Fall this year! These are just some of my initial ideas so I will be sure to share once I have it all set up and completed. I’m kind of getting the itch to decorate! But I think I will hold off until at least after Labor Day weekend. Then it’s full on Fall!
This summer has gone by so fast. And it truly has been very relaxing for us, which I think is something we needed. I told Kurt the other night that its starting to get darker earlier in the evening. By 8pm its almost completely dark out!
Last year, our space was still pretty empty in terms of decor and it was pretty neutral looking, so I went with a full on black and white theme. See last years decor here. And I choose that mainly because of these Mackenzie-childs pumpkins! I had been obsessing over them for years and my mom bought them for me as an early birthday present! I still love them and they have even added some new ones into the mix like this one and this one that are so unique looking! And defiantly tempting to buy haha! I’m still planning on these black and white pumpkins being my main focal point this year, but I plan to add some touches of color as well as some natural elements to tie it all in.
I saw this pumpkin and this pumpkin a few weeks ago and immediately went ga ga for them! They are perfect for my space. And over the weekend these branches were delivered and they are really pretty in person….and such a good price for the quality. I think I’m going to order a couple more just fill out my vase more. The color is so intense and is really refreshing and beautiful.
I also love William’s Sonomo’s pumpkin spice scent this time of year. Usually I buy their hand soap and at least one candle to burn. It truly smells so good! And I don’t think fall would be the same without this scent. I also have a slight addiction to juice glasses. How adorable are these pumpkin ones?! If I had more space, I swear I would have quite the collection of them!
