I don’t know about you, but lately, more than every, I have been on a major home decor kick. I think its obviously because we have been home so much and I stare at these four walls all day long! And I think up ways of how we can make our space even more cozy. Today, I wanted to share with you three affordable home decor purchases from Target that I’ve made.
Target is one of my favorite retailers for obvious reasons. You can get just about anything and everything you need all in a one stop shop. And not to mention- they are still open and fully functioning during this time. So it makes trips to Target that much more special. I actually haven’t been into the store in quite some time. Recently, I discovered their pick up option and I’m hooked! You simply add all the items to you cart and instead of having them ship to your home, you choose the pick up option. A few hours later, Target emails you when they are ready and you simply drive up and they bring your order right to your car. So there is no sanitizing of carts, no lines you need to stand in and most importantly, no crowds. I think this is defiantly something I will be on board with even after we are out of quarantine.
Some of my favorite lines from Target include Threshold, Hearth & Hand with Magnolia and my newest obsession is their Studio McGee line! I’ve bought everything from furniture (our tv stand is from Target) to rugs to outdoor furniture to little knickknacks. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything from Target these days!

I grabbed this upholstered cube or as I have been calling it a foot stool the day the new Studio McGee line launched. To be honest, once I got this home, I was a little hesitant. Kurt, for some reason, loved it immediately, but it took me a bit to jump on board. But now I’m hooked! We use it like a foot stool, but you could also pair two of them side by side to create extra seating in your living space. Or add it to a corner with a basket on top. The options are really endless. At under $90 its a pretty good bargain! I love the classic blue stripe and have truly just fallen in love with this piece. They also make a round version, a woven version and one with a wider stripe. They are all so good- it’s kind of hard to choose between them all!
2.Console Table

I have been searching high and low for a new console table. You can see our old one in this post here. While it was a nice table, the dark wood was just too dark for our space and it was driving me nuts. Ideally, I was looking for a cabinet because living in a small space, we could always use more storage. But everything I found that I loved was just so pricey. This cabinet is what I had my eye on :). And then I found this console table and and I knew it would be perfect for our space at just under $200. Realistically, I think this table is a little over priced considering what you are getting. It doesn’t have any drawers or any real function. But it also didn’t require you to put anything together, so I knew it would be an easy sell for Kurt haha. I love how it turned out and how it brightens up the space!

And lastly this beautiful rug! At $35 you truly cannot go wrong with this! I have the 3×5 size for my front entrance and it fits perfectly. And for the price, it is insanely comfortable and soft on your feet and that’s without a rug pad under it. I personally don’t like to spend a ton of money on rugs. This area is high traffic, so it sees a lot of wear and tear, muddy feet, etc. And at this price, it if doesn’t last long, I won’t be mad about it. The color I have is Heather Grey, but it defiantly has some blue tones to it in real life. I’m obsessed!
