As many of you know, I have to dress up every day for work. And so I’m always on the hunt for good and affordable pants that I can feel comfortable in and look stylish. And let me tell you- I have finally found the best black skinny pant for work!
Originally I bought this pair over the holidays in navy. I was browsing Banana Republic’s site and came across this pair because I was on a hunt for a new pair. I really wanted a more slim fitted pant and ones that would look cute with longer sweaters. But I knew I didn’t want a pointe pant that was basically like a skinny jean. It is quite hard to find this type of pant! As I was browsing, this pair caught my eye because of how adorable they look on the model. At first, I will admit, I was a little apprehensive. I don’t usually gravitate towards pants that have the side zip, but I couldn’t get past how cute they looked on! So I thought I would order a pair and worse comes to worse I could return them.
Except when I got them in the mail, it was love at first sight! They are so cute on and fit perfectly. The high waist sucks you in and they hit at exactly the right length. And one of the best parts is that they are machine washable, so it saves on the dry cleaning bill! Originally when I bought them I thought I would only wear longer tops because of the fit, but they look so cute paired with shorter sweaters and collard shirts. I liked the navy pair so much that I bought a pair in black. And both of these pants are now some of the most worn items in my closet. I reach for them almost daily!
