Happy Halloween! And I can’t get over that it’s already the end to one of best months of the year. BUT that means the holiday season is just about to start. I actually just ordered my Christmas tree and I’m so excited to put it up this year. Addie ate the lights off ours from last year so I had to get a new one this year. I usually put out all of my decorations around mid-November, but I might decorate a little earlier this year. I’m just so excited for some reason!

One of my yearly traditions in October is I always force Kurt to take me to the pumpkin patch. There is a really great one in a suburb by us and that is our go to. I’ve lived here for almost nine years and we have gone every year. Well I’m very sad to say that this year we didn’t make it. October was a busy month for us- we went home to Traverse City to see my parents one weekend and we were also in Charleston for another weekend. We just ran out of time unfortunately. And it makes me SO sad!

Favorite Purchase- We did a little shopping when we were in Charleston and Kurt ended up buying me a Gucci belt for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I’ve had my eye on it for a while now! And when the store actually had my size and the color I wanted- there was no way I was walking out of the store empty handed. And I didn’t know how much I would love it until I bought it. It completely changes up any outfit.
Favorite Beauty Item- I recently bought this serum by Skinceutials that I talked about in this post. And after a little over a week of using it, my skin has completely transformed. I’ve never seen results happen that fast by using a product. And I know its a little more on the expensive side but I’m telling you it really works! And I shared a little trick in my post. Favorite Pair of Shoes- Hands down these booties I’m wearing in these photos! I’ve lusted over them for years and finally bought them at the ShopBop sale a couple of weeks ago. And when I finally got them, my first thought was WHY did I wait so long?! They are gorgeous, sturdy, casual yet dressy and totally up my alley!
Favorite Show- Have you been watching The Haunting of Hill House?! OMG is it not the scariest show you’ve ever watched? If you haven’t started it- DO NOT watch this alone. It is so spooky and eerie and I can’t get over how good it is. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it but now I can’t stop watching.
Favorite Memory- This is going to be a hard one to pick but since we just got back from our trip in Charleston- it has to be our carriage ride thru the city. You get such a different view of the city. And its nice to give your legs a little break from all the walking. The guide is so knowledgable and you learn so many new fun facts. It’s a must do in Charleston if you are planning a trip!
Favorite Home Decor purchase- Our new couch was delivered a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with it! We bought our navy couch almost two years ago when we moved into our current apartment and despite what everyone was telling me, my mind was set on it. But in the end, it was just too hard to keep clean because it showed all of the pet hair on it. So after two years of struggling to keep it clean, we were just over it and decided it was time for a new one. I was so nervous that we had made a rash decision. We only went to one store and I didn’t have a vision of what I wanted. So I was a little nervous when we left the store that day and we had actually bought one. But truly I couldn’t be happier with it! It is so much more classic looking and although, there is still pet hair on it, it is so much easier to clean up!
