I have been searching high and low for a good teeth whitener to use, but haven’t found any luck. Growing up I had a ton of dental work done. I had to wear a retainer for years in order to widen my jaw and I wore braces twice. It wasn’t until I moved to Chicago that I started to drink coffee regularly. I use to work out in the suburbs and my commute was torture. I have super sensitive teeth, to the point where very hot and very cold items bother my teeth. And forget about biting into an ice cream cone with my front teeth! That just gives me shivers even thinking about it because my teeth are way too sensitive for that. What sets Smile Brilliant apart from other whitening kits is the desensitizing gel. First you add the whitening gel to your trays. You can wear these anywhere from a half hour up to three hours. I preferred to whiten at night and most nights I wore mine for about a half hour. And after you whiten you add the desensitizing gel to the trays. This is truly magic!! You feel no sensitivity after you use this, I swear! Even the next morning after using the product I didn’t feel any pain like you might with other products.
