Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. If you follow me on Instagram and watch my Insta Stories you may have seen a couple of weeks ago that Kurt won a contest at work. They always do these raffles and the winner takes home half the pot of money and his group of friends ended up winning! So, we decided to book a vacation. Any guesses where we could be going? We are going to the happiest place on Earth– Disney World!!!!
We ar SO excited and have been wanting to go for some time now. Originally we had our mind set on going to Seattle, which would be amazing too and we will defiantly go one day. Over the 4th of July, we were with Kurt’s family and we were discussing all of the trips everyone had taken over the years. The aunts confirmed how miserable Disney World is with kids because they get tired, it’s too hot for them and they get over stimulated. They all said how much more fun it is to go as an adult. So, it got us thinking, that maybe we should just do it BEFORE we have kids! And it’s really the perfect vacation for Kurt and I. We love being on the go and seeing EVERYTHING there is to see. And trust me, Disney has plenty to see.
We are going for three nights and are staying at the most magical castle hotel, called the Grand Floridian. I’ve been to Disney World as a kid and my family also went when I was in high school and I always dreamed of staying there. So this is fulfilling a lifelong fantasy for me haha. We plan on going to the Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. And knowing how Kurt and I are when we travel, we literally won’t stop!
Ok, so now onto some fashion because this outfit has absolutely nothing to do with our trip :). I love this casual lace top and I think it pairs so well with sneakers. I shot this look a couple of weeks ago and it was actually kind of chilly, so I was in the fall mood. It’s probably not something you can wear now, but it is such a cute casual outfit for the weekends when the temps start to drop.
These jeans are one of my favorite pairs to wear in the fall. I LOVE the subtle distressing on them. In this post here, I talked about the 5 pairs of jeans you need in your closet. And while I didn’t feature these (I wanted to show off my really destroyed pair!), you defiantly need these in your closet too!
