There have just been so many good sales lately! And the Sephora VIB sale is one of those sales that you just can’t pass up. The sale can be a little confusing to shop, so I will do my best at explaining it! I recommend everyone signs up to be a Beauty Insider at Sephora. That way every time you purchase something at Sephora they can look up your account and you start to earn points. And the more points and dollars you spend in their store, the higher your access is.
Being a VIB Rouge member, means you have the highest ranking and can shop the sales the earliest. The sale for you started last Friday and you get all the access before anyone else. But that comes at a price! You have to spend over $1000 in a calendar year. The next tier is the VIB status, which is my current status. To gain this, you just need to spend $350 in a calendar year, which isn’t that hard to do! Usually you get the same discount as a VIB Rouge member BUT you don’t get to shop as early. So if there is a hot item, there is a chance it could be sold out before you are able to shop. Here is the breakdown of the sale this year:

While I am no beauty expert, I have always loved makeup and skincare products. I wanted to share some new items I’ve been using and loving lately. And I wanted to share some items I have in my cart today that I will be ordering!
Tried and True
Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster– This is a must for Spring and Summer! You add a bit to your moisturizer in the morning and it gives you this natural glow. Since I am so fair skinned I can only use this every other day or else I look too tan! Read more about it in this post here.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick– my favorite new lipstick! I own the Heartless color and it is a really good mauve/light pink color that is perfect for every day use. They have so much pigmentation to them and they last without the dryness of a liquid lipstick. And I swear this lipstick makes my lips look bigger! I plan on purchasing some new colors during this sale.
Laura Mercier Lip Glace– I use to wear this lip gloss every day in color Baby Doll and somehow I got away from it! It is one of those great glosses to apply when you need a little color. I use to keep one in my desk draw and apply a few times a day to give me a little color. They go on smooth and have the best smell to them! And if you have dry lips like me, these are super moisturizing!
Items I’m Stocking Up On
Kiehl’s Lips Balm– This is the absolute best lip balm I have ever used. I use to be obsessed with it and then just sort of stopped using it for some reason. Lately, my lips have been very dry and flaky and I decided to give this a try. And now I can remember why I was so obsessed with it! I layer it on thick at night and still wake up with it on my lips, unlike a lot of other lips balms I’ve used. I plan on buying at least two during this sale- one for my purse and one for my office!
Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 25– I used this lip balm all last summer while at the pool or out in the sun. It has SPF in it, so it keeps your lips protected from the harsh sun. I am literally scraping every last bit I can out of my current tube so I need to re-stock for the warmer months!
Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve– This is the BEST hand cream ever! It is non-greasy and helps with dry, cracked hands. And it has no scent to it. It works like magic! I keep a tube in my desk draw and apply after I was my hands. I even have Kurt and my dad using it and they love it!
New Items to Try
Dior Forever Undercover Foundation– I am a die hard customer of my Airflash Dior Foundation. That is until I couldn’t find my color ANYWHERE. I mean, I googled it over and over and nothing. I talked to a few different makeup artists and they said it wasn’t being discontinued, but every color was sold out! I was completely out of foundation and needed one desperately, so I decided to give this new one a try. And I love it! It is heavier coverage, which I prefer, but it is still very light on your skin. You feel like you are wearing nothing, which is why I love Dior foundation. This one is also a lot less messy than my previous foundation. The Airflash is a spray so it goes all over the place when you apply it. I can’t decide which one I like more!
Dr. Brandt Eye De-puffing Gel– This is a new product I’ve been trying lately. It’s claim to fame is that it reduces puffiness, bags and dark circles under your eyes. The before and after pictures are pretty amazing. I haven’t been using it long enough to notice any results yet, but so far I love the concept of it!
Urban Decay Naked3 Palette– I am probably the last person to try these palettes by Urban Decay- this is my first time ever buying one! And now I know what the buzz is all about- they are simply amazing! There are so many colors to choose from and the pigmentation is great. The eyeshadow pops on your eyes. And there are endless combinations of a great neutral or smoky eye you can create.
Purchasing During the Sale
Beautyblender– Again, I know, crazy that I haven’t tried this yet. I usually use this brush to apply my foundation, but I’m curious what all the hype is about with this blender. For sure picking this item up during the sale!
Murad City Skin Overnight Detox Moisturizer– I received a sample of this a few months ago and absolutely loved it. It went on non-greasy and I wake up with hydrated, plump skin. After reading more into this brand, they are all about strive to eliminate pollution and the blue light emitted from electronics that your skin picks up. I’ve never heard of a skincare line that targets that, so I’m very intrigued by this line because that is exactly what my skin needs.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask– I’m dying to try this mask! There has been so much buzz about it all over Instagram. It was developed by a beauty blogger, so you know it’s going to be good. The mask helps with moisturizing and uneven texture and all ingredients are natural!
