I have been doing a lot of shopping lately! I think it is just that time of year. Plus I am out of a ton of stuff. And with Labor Day this weekend, there are a ton of great sales going on. So I wanted to share my recent purchases today in case you wanted to snag some of these items! And I’m also sharing some other sales to shop this weekend at the end.
Recent Purchases
- I got Sloane the most adorable clothes from Old Navy. This pumpkin tee and matching pants is the most adorable outfit. I also got her this matching set and I really like it. And I think I am going to order it in another color. I also grabbed her this fleece for her to wear as the weather cools down and I thought she also needed a cute pair of jeans! I haven’t ordered her anything from Old Navy in a while and I forgot how cute and affordable their clothing is!
- My skin has been soooo dry lately. And I don’t know if it is because I’m getting older, if your skin gets drier after having a baby or if it’s just that time of year. But my regular routine has not been working. When I lived in Michigan years ago, I had really dry skin then too so maybe it is a Michigan thing. The moisturizer that I used to use has been discontinued- of course! And it looks like this one is what replaced it, but of course that isn’t in stock either. I have been using this one and it’s been working, but I still think I could use more moisture! So I ordered this face oil and have been loving it. I only use it at night because I don’t think it really soaks in very good. But I wake up the next morning and my skin looks so good! It’s bright and refreshed looking and feels so soft. It smells like honey on your skin which isn’t my favorite, but it’s not overpowering and it does go away fast.
- I had to replace my under eye concealer (this is the one I use) and also my powder. I’ve been using these products for years and I always go back to them.
- I placed an order for myself from Madewell. I feel like I have no Fall clothes! I bought this pair of jeans and this pair too, this top. And I always grab one of these tees because they are my fav and I wear them probably every other day!
- I recently bought these wipes to wipe down Sloane when she gets home from daycare. Anything to keep the germs away! We have been sick one too many times and I’ve learned my lesson. I also use these to wipe down her hands before she eats since she is crawling all over the place. And she eats with her hands!
- My hair dryer died a slow death. And it was time for a new one! I ended up getting the newer version of the one I already own- this one. I’ve had these hair dryers for years and years now and once they die I always buy a new one! They are powerful and hot and make such a huge difference in your hair! I dreaded for so long washing and drying my hair because it was taking way too long. But now I am kind of excited!
- I ended up ordering this bookcase from Ikea for Sloane’s play room. I was not happy with the fact that the price of the shipping was MORE than the actual bookcase ughhhh. But I sat on it for about a week and decided to pay it. It is exactly what we need in there and I haven’t been able to find anything else that I like. I plan to turn this sideways and put it under our TV and add baskets to the bottom row to store her toys. We are needing something that gives us more organization. I tried to find other, similar options but the dimensions were too small. You can find these at Target or Walmart, but none are this big!
- I ordered this piece of art of our dining room and I am really excited about it! I have always loved this piece and the colors are a little bit of everything in that room. Once I get this, our dining room will be complete! So I am excited to share once everything is hung up.

- Dudley- Stephens is 30% off! They very rarely go on sale. I have this one in navy in a size small. Next time I order one, I will probably size up. The small fits great, it’s just a little more fitted and I like sweatshirts a little more oversized. I have my eye on this one in natural blush or this one in black.
- Alice Walk is a new to me brand, but I love everything about their stuff. They are a little more expensive so a good sale helps. I adore this sweater, this sweater and this sweatshirt.
- Serena & Lily is 20% off sitewide! You guys know I adore this retailer. I love everything that they offer. Here is my blog post with everything that I own from them. Lately, I’ve had my eye on these sconces for our powder bath remodel.
