I headed into Nordstrom’s this past weekend to do a little more shopping. And I have to say, I’m super impressed with this year’s sale, especially the denim selection! I spent most of my day shopping the sale online on Friday when it went live, but shopping it in store was a whole different experience. If you have a store near you- I highly recommend heading there to shop. I found so many pieces in store that I would have just breezed by online. Not sure if that is a good thing or not haha. Maybe not for my credit card. So here is my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale try-on haul with sizing and my recommendations!

This is probably my favorite outfit! I didn’t end up buying this sweater, but I adore it! The puff sleeve and color are just so pretty. I bought another hot pink sweater online, so if I don’t like that one I will be purchasing this one. And these jeans are my favorite pair from the sale and they ended up coming home with me. Online they look so much lighter than they actually are in person. They fit so good and have a ton of stretch to them, which I love. I don’t have a pair this color in my closet yet so these are a good find!

I have been wanting to try a pair of button front jeans, so I had to try these on. Madewell is one of my favorite brand of jeans and they have so many that are part of the sale. And this pair was no exception- they are adorable! I also can’t get over how soft and comfortable this cardigan is. It ended up coming home with me. I am always looking for good cardigans as we transition to Fall. So this will get a ton of wear!

I thought this sweater was super cute with jeans and would also look so cute with leggings for a more casual look. The button detail makeS it a little more unique too. Another great pair of denim by Madewell if you are in the market for a dark distressed pair.

These jeans were probably my least favorite pair I tried on. But I think it’s because they weren’t high waisted and I think I’ve gotten so use to that style that wearing anything else just feels weird. I did like the leg opening on these and the length. This sweater is a really great basic to have in your closet. I wear a version of this to work all the time!

I loved this pair of jeans! If I needed a dark skinny pair of jeans- this would be the pair I would buy. They are super stretchy and high waisted so basically everything I love in a pair of jeans. And this top was super cute, just a little on the pricey side. I think you can get something similar for a little less, even on sale.

And this is seriously the coziest outfit ever!!! I will be living in it. I can’t get over how soft this cardigan is. It was on my list to buy during this years sale and I know I will literally live in it all the time. And these joggers are super comfy. The material is so soft. I ended up buying both of these items!
