I’ve always loved a good pair of espadrilles for Spring and this pair has been my favorite for many, many years! Well sort of haha. Let me get into it.
I bought this pair maybe five or six years ago and wore them all the time. They are the perfect espadrille. They are comfortable, the color goes with everything. And what I really love is that your toes are hidden! This is especially great if you are in need of a pedicure haha. I don’t always get regular pedicures or keep up with it until it gets warmer out. So these espadrilles are great if you haven’t had one- no one would know the difference!
They are also incredibly comfortable. A shoe you can wear all day long and night and not have your feet hurt. I’ve worn them to several events and occasions, dinners out, etc. and they are always so comfortable.
Plus the ties make them look really cute and a little more sexy. My favorite way is to tie them is in the front, but they also look really cute tied in the back too. I think it’s more of a personal preference.
They come in a ton of colors! I personally think this neutral color is the most universal because it goes with anything- blacks, whites, navy, pink, green, blue, etc. I did buy them in navy one year and I get a ton of wear out of those as well.
This year, I decided to buy the platform version and I couldn’t be happier with them. I had been eyeing them for awhile, but my original pair was still in good condition even after many years of wearing them. I finally decided to buy them this year for my trip to Mexico. In fact this is the only style of heeled shoe I brought to Mexico- this pair and my navy pair! They look adorable with every outfit, casual or dressy! Zero regret too because I just adore them!
There are two different brands that make this espadrille style- Soludos and Castaner. I have both and honestly, can’t decide which ones I like better. I think they are both very similar in style and construction. Buy whatever is in stock in your size and the color you like because they can be hard to find! I find that they run true to size. Typically, I am an 8 and took size 39 in this style.
