After a really crazy weekend last weekend, I ended up having jury duty Monday morning which I was not happy about. I could not believe how many people there were too! It was insane. And as luck would have it, I was picked to be on the jury. It was kind of a cool experience, but it was just a lot. A lot of waiting around and kind of boring. Luckily, it only lasted a day and a half and then I had to get caught up on work the rest of the week. I can say that I did it, but never want to do it again haha.
I ended up ordering these sneakers after seeing them on a friend on Instagram. They are adorable, but they were huge! So I had to return them and buy a smaller size. I ordered an entire size down because they seemed that big. I wore them on Sunday so you can see them below.
This week I also ordered new planters and faux topiaries for our front porch. I’m ready for our porch to look cute again. We haven’t had anything out there in a few months. The ones I ordered were huge and way too big! It just overpowered our porch and didn’t look right. I don’t know what I was thinking because I did measure haha. They are both really great quality though so if you have a bigger front porch than we do, get these! You can see what I mean in this photo. We ended up keeping the planters and plan to add them to our back patio. I ordered these new planters for the front and these smaller topiaries so I’m hoping these work!
I also got a restock on my favorite moisturizer. This stuff has changed my skin (among other things!). And I can’t be without it. You can read my full review on it here. It’s the absolute best if you have very dry skin like I do. After trying at least 10 different moisturizers this was the only one that gave my skin the moisture it needed.
One of my favorite dresses launched in white! I have the chambray and wore it all the time last year. I like that it can be dressed up or down. And I really like the sleeves even when it is hot because the AC gets really cold! I wear an XS- I think it runs big. You can see it on me here.
And lastly, the brand Manucurist sent me a fun package of new nail polishes to try. This line is new. Not only do they give your nail a little color but they nourish your nails as well. I just did mine the other day (I used Shine which gave my nails a pretty glittery effect) so I can’t really talk about it yet, but so far I really like it. These lighter polishes are so nice because they are easy to put on and also when they chip, you can’t see it. You can use my code NAILSOFAMANDAFA for a discount!
On another note- our powder bath is almost complete and I can hardly wait!!! It is so cute! I bought some accessories last week like this soap dispenser and these faux hydrangeas for my vase. The flowers look so real it’s incredible. And then my artwork from Framebridge also arrived. I ended up going with this artwork in this frame and it looks so good! I need to talk Kurt into hanging it for me! And in a couple of weeks I have handy man coming to do a few things around the house. But I am going to have him hang the curtain I had made. Expect a full review coming soon!!

I finally got my hair done (this was the before). I haven’t been since February which is long for me. I’ve been trying to go longer in between appointments and I actually kind of like the rooted look.
I just got these new sneakers and I’m obsessed. Right out of the box they are a little stiff, but within a few minutes they soften up and are really comfy to wear. I love the blue and pink colors! I’m sure I will be wearing these a ton now! They do run big- I went down one whole size.
