The other day I was telling Kurt, I used to love Fall. Everything about it I just adored. But the last few years, Spring has really opened my eyes and made me love this season even more. I think most of it has to do with the weather. In Chicago, we never really had a Spring because the wind would make it feel so much chillier than it was. It would go right from winter and maybe in June get super hot. We never had that in between weather.

But once we moved to Michigan (three years ago!), it’s been so different. The weather is actually nice in Spring. The sun is brighter and I think I might say it- Spring is my new favorite season! Not to mention, this time of year is the best color palette in my opinion for clothing and home décor. Think light pinks, lavender, light blues, pastels, greens, etc. The décor is more dainty and light. I always find myself shopping a ton during this time not only for myself, but for home décor and now for Sloane!

Sloane has been in need of some new clothes. I didn’t really have to buy her much in the Fall and I stuck to toys for Christmas so she didn’t get any new clothes either. So she has been due for some new ones! A lot of stuff she has outgrown or had just too many stains on it. I took her to Target over the weekend and they had a lot of their Spring line out so we bought a lot. Today I want to share the Target new arrivals for Spring!

I love shopping at Target for Sloane and have since she was a baby. Specifically for her play clothes. And these are the clothes she wears to school too. She gets messy at school and I swear every time I send her to school in a nicer outfit she comes home with something on her haha. I love that their clothes are cute, but also really affordable. And they do go on sale from time to time making them that much more affordable.

As far as sizing, I always size up. Their stuff shrinks a lot in the wash. So while it might look a little big when you first put it on them, it will shrink over time and fit just right. Sloane is 2.5 years old and I bought her 3t in everything.

Here is everything I bought! I will share them all below in pictures so you can see it all a little better. I did buy her two pairs of jeans (this pair and this pair). But after sharing, a lot of moms messaged me on Instagram saying their kids hate jeans. I guess I never thought about it! So the other day I did try and put her in jeans and she refused lol. TBD if we keep them or not, but they are really cute nonetheless!

This top is one of my favorites we got! It also comes with matching shorts but they didn’t have her size so I plan on ordering them. For now, she can wear them with a colorful pair of leggings. Sloane was also adamant about these tie dye leggings haha! She pointed them out and wanted them so we got them! She is starting to have an opinion on what she wears- help me on this one because I know as a kid I tortured my parents with this! Anyway, I thought this bunny t-shirt would be adorable with them.

And I did pick up a few pairs of shorts just so we had some in case we had a few random days where it was really nice. I thought this ruffle pair was so cute! I will probably get them in a few more colors for the summer months.
