The Serena & Lily Black Friday sale is probably the best sale that I have seen all season. I’ve shopped here for years and follow their sales closely because I am usually buying something for the house and getting it on sale is always better! And this is by far the best I’ve seen. You can get up to 40% off plus free shipping! The free shipping alone is a huge savings. Typically in the past, their sales would be 20-25% off, but you would still be charged for shipping which was not cheap. Most of the time what you were saving was what you would pay in shipping. Still a deal don’t get me wrong, but you weren’t really saving a ton.
Serena & Lily is my favorite home store to shop from. It just emulates how I want my home to look and feel. I love everything about it. My girlfriends all graciously gifted me a very generous gift card for my birthday, so I am on the hunt to spend it haha.
To be honest, I haven’t ordered anything from there in over a year I would say. I think the last thing I bought was our wallpaper that we added to our play room (see it here). They have always been pricey, but they took advantage of inflation and raised their prices quite drastically. Even with their sales, it was still really expensive. Think $500-$600 more for an item that hadn’t changed at all. It was kind of crazy and I think they finally realized they got a little out of control with their prices and this is why they are having a big sale. Just my two cents. Prices are actually better than a few years ago before they raised them drastically and there is free shipping on top of it. So, some really great deals this week!
What I Own From Serena & Lily
I am going to link some blog posts below on some of the Serena & Lily items that I own. It’s always better to see items in someone’s home and how they styled the items. There is also a newer store in Birmingham, MI if you are local. I have been meaning to go, but haven’t made it there yet. I have been to the one in Chicago (it’s in Lincoln Park) and it’s a gorgeous store!
- One of my most popular posts on my blog is my Serena& Lily Riviera Chairs Review. They are my dining room chairs that I’ve had for four years now and they look brand new still. Even after moving and having a toddler. Sloane sits on a chair every night for dinner and while we have had our messes, they do actually clean up really easily. They can just be a pain to get in between the grooves. But they aren’t impossible. I about panicked the first time Sloane had a handful of spaghetti and rubbed her hands all over her chair. But it came right out. I own the color Fog/White which is a grey and white coloration. I love how neutral they are and can go with so much. This light blue color might be my all time favorite though! They came out with it right after I bought my chairs or I might have been tempted!
- Next up is my Serena & Lily South Seas Bar Cart Review. Don’t let the name fool you, you can use this cart all over the house. It also comes in two sizes depending on your space (we have the smaller version, here is the larger version). We are currently using it as a drop zone at our front entrance. But in Chicago, we used in the office area to hold our printer and some other odds and ends. You can see updated pictures of our space in this post here. I added a rug and new artwork.
- And lastly, here is a post with All of the Items I Own from Serena & Lily. I have several of their rugs that I love and adore and they are all linked in that post with pictures. Rugs are always such a hard thing to find especially in that pretty light blue color that I love. Serena & Lily has some gorgeous rugs you don’t want to miss out on. One of my best selling items this year has been this rug (pictured above) and you can see it in this post here. I love that it is traditional but updated in more modern colors. I originally had this in my entryway, but moved it to our kitchen when we did a few updates earlier this year. I would 100% buy a bigger size of this one (I have the 3×5). It cleans up so nicely and we haven’t had no issues with it even being in our kitchen and a high traffic area. This rug is another top seller (shown below). It is currently in our hallway upstairs. This was one of the items I just knew I had to have in my home when we first moved. It is an indoor/outdoor rug but still very soft. I would have never know it was in indoor/outdoor rug if I haven’t checked the description. But because of that it cleans up amazingly well. The white is still white even after having it in a high traffic area for over two years. It’s a good one!
What’s On My Wish List
I was browsing their site the other day because this gift card is burning a hole in my pocket haha. And here are some of the items I’m thinking of purchasing!
- Chandelier– I actually own this chandelier in the brass/white option. But I wanted to mention this white rattan shade option because it is 44% off & free shipping. A huge discount!
- Hamper– I’ve always wanted a really nice hamper to sit in our bedroom and have had my eye on this one.
- Scallop Rattan Side Table– I adore this side table so much. I am thinking this might be really cute in Sloane’s room when she gets a big girl bed, which is coming sooner than later. I’ve been slowly thinking about what I want for her room and this would look so cute with her current decor. This is a high contender to use my gift card on!
- Lamp– I just adore this lamp so much. Was thinking it would be cute on my desk that I work at every day.
- Trunk– I’ve long lusted over this trunk. I even included it in the initial room design for Sloane’s nursery. It would look gorgeous at the end of her bed and she could throw all of her toys in it at the end of the day. I just don’t know if we would exactly have room. It’s hard to measure it all out when we haven’t bought her big girl bed yet, so I might need to wait on this one.
- Rattan Console Table– I’ve had my eye on this console table for so long and the Serena & Lily Black Friday Sale is the cheapest I’ve ever seen it- it’s 40% off! I always thought I wanted this in our play room to sit under our TV. It would look so nice! I need to measure it again because it might be too big for the space. Alas, I love it!
- Vase– I adore this vase so much. The color blue is so pretty. I picture this with pretty pine stems and a bow decorated for Christmas sitting next to my fireplace! But it could be used year round.
