Halloween Headquarters - Cashmere & Jeans

Today I wanted to share all the things Halloween related! Because it is only a month away. That seemed to come out of nowhere. I’ve really gotten into it this year. Mainly because year after year, our neighborhood does such a good job at decorating and making it feel very festive. And then there is us haha. We don’t have a ton of décor. But I wanted to change that this year because Sloane is now at a fun age where she notices everything and is very into it. Although, I think Halloween kind of scares her a bit- can’t blame her!

So here is your Halloween headquarters. Today I am going to share how I decorated my front porch, my pumpkins inside my home, cute little items from Target that are perfect to gift or have around your house to make it feel more festive and some Halloween outfit ideas for you toddlers!

Here is the start to my front porch. I haven’t put out my pumpkins yet but I plan to add quite a bit like I did two years ago (see the post here). I learned my lesson two years ago because if you put them out too early, they will rot and it’s really gross! I couldn’t resist this adorable Boo sign for only $5. And I got a new wreath this year. I wanted a more Halloween feel, so I grabbed this one (here is a similar one).

This is how I decorated for Halloween this year- pretty similar to last year! I just love my Mackenzie-Childs pumpkins. Even though I don’t use a lot of black when decorating my home- I adore my pumpkins and love how they mix in with my décor. These are some of my favorite items from Mackenzie-Childs 🙂

I did also buy these bats, but I can’t decide if I am going to use them on my fireplace or put them around my door outside. TBD. I plan to add these in the next few weeks so they will last until Halloween.

I think these ghost plant sticks are just the most adorable thing ever! Would be so cute in your mums. And I did order this boo ghost sign– you can see it above. I thought it was an inexpensive way to add something a little cute to my front porch. I’m also the biggest pillow lover and thought this boo pillow was really cute. And I love the new cutout pillows. I actually think Sloane would love this ghost one.

Target always has the cutest Halloween selection for really cheap. I know Sloane will love these tumblers to drink water out of or her milk. It’s always more fun to have a new cup! And I thought this was a really cute plate for only $3. I know she would enjoy eating off it. It would also be really cute to make waffles with this $10 waffle maker the morning of Halloween!

I am going to do a little goodie Halloween bag for Sloane and I am ordering her this tumbler, this plate, these mini balloons and this slime. I think it’s cute to give them a few gifts on holidays- you don’t have to go crazy either. And Target makes it really affordable!

Halloween Outfit Ideas for Toddlers

I love dressing Sloane up in all of the holiday gear! Surprisingly, I think a lot of her stuff from last Halloween will still fit this year. But my mom did snag her this Hey Boo t-shirt that I think is so adorable. And I think I am going to grab her these barrettes for her hair. Maybe then she won’t fight me when I’m doing her hair haha. Over the weekend Sloane and I made a trip to Target and I also grabbed her this pink ghost dress. It’s even cuter in person!
