Happy Friday everyone! The temps here in Chicago have dropped, which means that I have pulled out my winter coat. I’m probably crazy for wearing it already because it’s cold, but not that cold yet. I just like to be cozy on my walk to the train!
Last year I decided to invest in a Canada Goose and I can truthfully say that it’s the best winter coat. It kept me SO warm all winter and I know it will last for years. The only part on my body that was ever cold were my legs where the coat ended. And the hood is one of the best features about the coat. I know there is a lot of controversy about the hood because it’s real fur, but it’s up to you. The fur is removable so if you don’t support it, it can be removed. The hood is bendable so you can surround your face in it. And it always stays on your head, even the high winds in Chicago!
The parka I am purchased is the Shelburne in black. For reference I am wearing a medium. The small fit, but I buy my jackets a little bigger because I like to wear bulky sweaters in the winter. And I felt like the small was just a little too small for my preference. I love the quilted details on this style too! It’s the reason I decided to go with this parka!
If you are looking for a good Christmas present to ask for this year, you should add a Canada Goose jacket to the list! I absolutely love mine!!!
